    Start all over..Take off the scope, rings and bases. Use come blue lock tight on all the threads.It should be fine. Dicks screwed up a mount and bore sight for me once too..It happens…Good luck.

    .308 still has some good recoil. The 7mm-08 is awesome!! Considerably less recoil than .308 and still Kick ass on deer. Hit them where they should be hit and they go nowhere… Good luck..

    Good luck with it. We got about 18 inches the other day and I was totally unprepared..didnt have the plow blade and base on the ATV so now the blade is buried behind the shed, the new snowblower wouldn't start (even tho I winterized it last year) I got the old one started, but it crapped out half way through. Eventually got the new one started………..2 hours on whats usually a 1 hour job. Called the local repair guy and he is swamped…..My own fault I guess…….

    Usually 10. (with the shotgun or rifle) I load the gun up with4 or 5 and have a another 5 in my pack. or on the ammo sling on the stock. I don't care how good you think you are…. things can happen or a hunting buddy can an extra round or 5………..

    Ive asked it before , but it still interests me for some reason,,, What gun and load are you all using in the morning..I can't make it to my Southern rifle spot tomorrow (long story) so I am hunting near the house with a shotgun. Winchester 1300 with a 1.5- 4.5 x 32 scope loaded up with Lightfield 1 1/4 oz. slugs. They work pretty well. Good luck to all!!!!

    With an IC choke, you should be fine out to maybe 50 yards. I assume your barrel just has a bead sight?? you'll notice that the farther out your target gets, the more of the target that bead sight takes up and the harder it is to draw i finer bead on farther targets...

    I remember watching a video (yes video) years ago, where they tested all kinds of rifle rounds as to how they penetrated brush. They fired at a target 50 yds away with brush ( not even real thick brush) about 3 yards in front of the target. Every round deflected significantly. Most came nowhere near the kill zone, and some didn't even hit the target. They fired everything from 22LR to 30-06…..same results with all.

    I had to cut it way short this morning. 8:30. Way too windy. My tree was moving so much I don't think I could have even shot, if I saw one. I heard a big limb come down and I was out of there.
