Like ive been sayin all along, Pass the crossbows, pass antler restr. open up deer season from Oct 1 to Dec 20th anything gos and let the hunters decide what they want to use. Instead of all this assinine bickering about stupid crap that really doesnt do anyone any good, especially hunters and future hunters.

If your walking down the street in NY city I would hope they would. Everywhere else outside of a city they arent going to bother you. Do it all the time. As far as coyotes go, everyone I have met in the woods went the other way like thier tail was on fire. Bears on the other hand like to follow me around and piss me off while im hunting.

I watched a video on youtube of a guy shooting pigs with one out of a tree stand so they are def not a toy. Might be interesting to look into. Might take another 20 yrs to get them included in the bow season though.

The latest I have ever personnally seen a buck still carrying was march.

Now that is really cool. Never would have thought they would go after a duck, but then again they use to kill the heck out of our chickens sometimes so I guess it only makes sense.

My wife has been teaching my ten yr old all the pressure points. Its great till she wants to practice on me. The one under the nose, arm pit and behind the ear really hurt. I say forget all that, you grab his junk and twist you'll get his attention reall quick!!!!

Id need a change of pants if I saw something like that walking towards me.

My wifes cousin said he saw one last week crossing the road that had 1/2 his antlers still on. I havent seen a buck since the last week of muzzleloader

Gone through several hunting partners, My roommate back a few yrs ago was my first hunting partner. We were always in the woods, if it wasnt hunting we were fishing or hiking or mushroom picking. Then I got married and then he got married and we had a few kids and all that went away. I lost his ph# when my cell took a dump and I turned off my internet so no more facebook and I havent talked to him in a yr. My Brother was my next hunting partner and I was standing right next to him when he shot his first deer. I remember back during the doe permit craze days he got 3 permits one season and filled them all a 1/2 mile back in the woods about 3 min into the season starter. I walked over after all the shooting and just looked at him and said, OK now how do you think we are going to get all these deer out of here? And he was like I didnt think of that! I wanted to kill him after we loaded the second deer into the back of the truck, was dead tired and had to go back in for the 3rd one. Good times He went in the Army not soon after that and when he got out him and his family moved to NC. I talk to him about once a yr.

Thanks, I was actually pretty suprised to find it where I did. I had walked by it twice already on other trips but had decided to really pick this area apart this day. I knew there was a shed in there somewhere. I just cant stop even though it is getting greener and harder to see in the woods. Just wanted to pass this shed below on that was found in NY in the past couple of days. I found it on another site and found it worthy of mention. I will not mention the area or name of the person, if he is on this site and wants to mention any of the above then that is his choice. I wont. Scored around 78 inch. I repeat this is not one of my sheds but someone elses That I found on another site that was found somewhere in NY and worthy of mention. Got it, not mine.

Was out for 4 hrs today and got nothing but tired. Found 2 pretty old skulls. Both had been on the ground for a couple of yrs, the racks were almost completly gone from chewing.

Well lets keep the oops's going with the next few pics. All came off of snoopes as researched and true pics so whatever. 1st one is of a dude getting gored by a bull, a true look of ooops I should have moved faster on his face and really made me crindge. 2nd one is of a deer covered in nasty warts, yuck!! Third one has many theories as to how a deer got on top of the communication pole but the most popular seems to be the train hit it and it flew up there. The fourth is a bear that was electricuted when it decided to snack on some electric wires. oops.

I dont think they would get rid of the tags, they would still be there. If you want to hunt with a bow you still buy a bow tag.

Well Friday morning after work I went out for about 4 hrs and searched for sheds. About 2 hrs into it I found this set laying next to eachother, whicj is pretty nice of him to drop both of them in the same spot. I actually passed this buck up 2nd day of gun season about 50 yrds from where I picked them up at.

And lets not forget to mention alot of the family farms went out of business because the kids didnt want anything to do with it. They found it an easier life to go to college and sit in an office all day instead of getting up at 3am and not getting into bed till 10pm. I worked on several dairy farms from when I was 13 till I went in the army. All are gone now because the kids didnt want to deal with the hassel. The owners got old and had to cut back yr after yr untill the kids put them in homes and sold the land to developers.

The current odds are 1 in 175,000,000 right now.

Lets get rid of all the special seasons and just go with a 2 month fill your tags with what ever you want to use.

Nice finds, my wifes had me tearing the house up and replaceing things this week so I havent had a chance to get out. Put in 300sqfeet of flooring this week. I kept looking outside and wondering how many sheds the porky pigs were eating right now. : )
