  1. Nice concept. How is the cam secured against theft without locking it to a tree?
  2. Found this yesterday while out looking. Can only imagine what happened. There was a stump next to the log so maybe the porky pig fell off it onto his back.
  3. Nice, my wife did one for my birthday. Got it hanging by my 10 lbs bass mount.
  4. Well I can tell you that after 8 hrs of walking back and fourth across the fields today, there are officially no sheds in the fields in my hunting area. My legs are beat!! Going to start hitting the trails to the fields this week and trying to find bedding areas. Though I think that isnt going to help either because of the lack of snow this yr. The deer tracks are every where with no real defined trails to follow.
  5. Wow you get a corner? I didnt know you could do that!!! I will have to bring this to my wifes attention. Do you have and article # or some kind of housing code I can quote. Love the Ronald Mcdonald. You should put an NRA sticker on him.
  6. Been an interesting yr so far. Have found 3 sheds so far this yr. Luckily though I havent had any excitement like these guys did last yr shed hunting. Any find a body before while they were in the woods? http://www.mikehanba...ind-Human-Skull Here are my finds so far. Hopefully more to come. With the warm weather here now I plan to get out alot this week if the ticks dont drain me first.
  7. Wow!!! Sell your home and become a ten. to some rich dude from NY city is what I heard, since most of the slums lords in Binghamton are from NY City. If I couldnt afford a house what makes you think I can afford to rent? I went to private school and we made do with a 1/4 of what public schools do. And all you hear from the public school teachers is we need more money and we can make it work. Well after how many yrs of throwing money at the school system to make it work and it hasnt even put a dent in it. Give me a break. And the 50% 401k match went out the window with the bad economy for me to. Time for all the unions to start feeling the pain like real americans have been for the last couple of yrs.
  8. Dang it you guys are going to make me take another night off from work arent you.

    172 buck

Really get a feel for how wide he is with the rack wraped around the tree. Nice deer no matter what he scores. To bad he wasnt a little more even on both sides, but ide take him. ( After I got the shakes under control )

    172 buck

looks like its playing peek a booo.
  11. I get much more excited about the walleye opener, and the perch and crappie spawn than trout season anymore. Always thought it was funny to see a bunch of grown men standing shoulder to shoulder casting at a ball of a thousand 8 inch fish that bite anything you throw at them. Though I do enjoy the finger lakes and lake ontario and its tribs fishing. Especially in the spring when they are shallow.
  12. found this independent review. The jolt felt was as average as any and average at best. It lasted just under three hours, it was jitter free, and there was a bit of a crash following it all. Each can contains: caffeine, taurine, and several B vitamins. All in all, while Team Realtree Outdoor is far from trailblazing, it's of a much higher quality than initially expected when it was first glared upon through the clear front fridge. I prefer 5 hr energy shots, as concentration and patience are needed for hunting and not bouncing around the stand on a caffiene high. The review says there is a slight crash after 3 hrs which is also not needed, I have a hard enough time staying awake as it is on the stand. But for what they are compared to say monster energy they seem to be good.
  13. I was out shed hunting Sat. and within an hr I had pulled 37 ticks off my pants. ( yes i kept track ) I got the picture and left. Went to my dads and had some coffee with him and felt something on my neck that turned out to be a tick. I went out on his porch and took off my pullover and found 3 more on it. One more on my shirt underneath and one crawling around on the porch for a grand total of 42 ticks for the day. Going to be a bad yr.
  14. Nice!! hope to get out soon again. I have to start nockin on doors around the neighborhood and see if I can walk thier fields.
  15. The 4 sec trigger is not as bad as everyone thinks it is. I have yet to get blank pics or butts on my stealth yet. The trigger area is so wide on the stealth I think it makes up for the slow trigger speed. I can almost stand next to it and see the light trigger on the test mode. Unless a deer or whatever is running by, I dont see it being a problem. The reviews I have read say that its best used on food plots and feeders, but I run mine on trails facing away from the sun and down the trail and get some pretty sweet pics so I dont know. Is it the best cam out there, no Im sure more expensive cams are better. But as long as i can count points its good enough for me. And I must say it takes pretty good pics for IR.
  16. This is by far the best sentence I have ever seen for poaching. Instead of presumptive prison terms of three years and 6½ years, respectively, for their racketeering, identity theft and poaching convictions, the Donohos must report to the Lane County Jail for a 90-day sentence on Oct. 1, the first day of deer season, in each of the next four years. http://special.regis...n-hall.html.csp
  17. Here it is. Canale tagged an 18-point, double-drop tine buck with a gross nontypical score of 203 inches on a farm only a few miles from his home. The buck, which had impressive 26-inch main beams and a spread just over 23.5 inches, is likely to be one of - if not the - largest bucks taken in New York Further inspection may have explained why Canale had such a hard time seeing the buck while hunting. The buck was estimated at 7.5- to 8.5-years-old, which is extremely old for a wild whitetail buck in New York, and lessons learned from past hunting seasons may have kept it alive. http://outdoornews.c...1871e3ce6c.html
