    Heard some Sat. am. behind house while I was getting ready to leave to go fishing. Crows first then gobbleing. Was very foggy. Was nice to hear.

    I tried an undertaker in my 870 12. ga. I cuold not get what I thought was a good pattern at 40 yds. I went back to the full choke that came with the gun & got a better result with it at 40 yds. Jmo, but the fun of turkey hunting is hearing the birds & seeing how close they will come in, I am not into the 60yd shots.

    Not to steal the thread but I received an e mail from, USSportsmensalliance.org, saying that Mitt Romney & Rick Santorum are both strong supporters of our 2nd. Amendment. You can read the interviews of both on that site. At least that's a little good news. fyi.

    Red, I am working on mine too ,did you turn yours in at the permit dept. today & now you have to go back to get finger printed tomorrow ? I was told they do it there when I take my permit there. Where do you have to go to be printed? Thanks for any info.

    I use the QAD Ultra & love it. I took a whisker biscuit off but I liked that also. But do the glue dab to the fletch as WNY said it works if thats your problem.

    I did a hunt over bait last year in Quebec, 6 days from 3 pm to dark . I did not see a bear makes for a long boreing hunt. A friend did a Maine hunt with dogs hunted during daylight hrs. & treed 5-6 bears. He said it was exciting just hearing & seeing the dogs do their thing & treeing the bears. He got one plus many pics. If I were to go again I would go with the dogs. Also take the thermalcell & the head net for sure!! good luck!

    I have to say after watching the video in post 174 I do not see what all the bi#@hing is all about seems pretty equal to me. I still say hunt with what you want when you want!

    Try glueing a peice of solid 1/2 - 3/4 styrofoam cut to size to the bottom of the frame enclose everything but the tires or will that make it to hi for the tires to hit the ground. Is that thing going to work in hi grass or leaves in the feild/woods? Just some ideas. Good luck.

    Right on Skillet, I say take those guys from Texas & put them with us useing shotguns in the woods without feeders, box stands,& the 400 yd cleared shooting lanes & see what then can do. I would bet they wouldn't pass up 140" waiting for the next bigger one to show up!

    Tragic for sure. Think about it, if the old timer could remember it he would probably do something worst. how would we feel if we shot our son, left our grand kids & his wife without a father & husband! sucks big time in mo.
