    NYslowhand, yes I was being sarcastic. It is a great misconception that crossbows have a greater range than vertical bows.

    That would be great. I hear a crossbow is good out to 100 yards and a muzzle loader to 200. Beats my Hoyt matrix by a few yards.

    I picked up an Excalibur axiom last winter. It was 429. It is/was over 750 before the season started. I hope to see a full inclusion of the Xbow next year. We shall see.
