Yup drink water. I've also heard that a tablespoon of salt in the water makes it go away fast. Never tried it before hence the fact I dont really get cramped up much.

Yea if I see a good sized buck in front of me he's coming home with me lol. I'll worry about aging later. I don't hunt no Texas dream ranch so a nice buck is a keeper to me.

Last time I saw a big buck on the thru way it was a nice 8 back end crushed dead on the side of the road.

Yea hunting in ADK is most likely some of if not the best/hardest hunting in NY. I would bring some extra rope and tie your boots nice and tight. I'll be strolling threw there again this year myself. Good Luck.

Could some of the thousands of child refugees from Central American soon be calling Central New York their temporary home? Bill Carey says officials in Syracuse say they have no problems offering the city and its many refugee services to help ease the immigration crisis. SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Passing motorists may wonder by protesters have gathered outside facilities that use to be home to the Sisters of St, Francis. The protest has its origins in Central America; a flood of young children fleeing violence, hoping to win refugee status in America. Across the country, there have been protests when officials have even talked of providing shelter to the children. Now, Syracuse's mayor says she wants the city to do just that. "I've been reacting to what I see as the plight of the children. It's excruciating to think that any child would leave home or have their parents tell them to leave home because of the terror that is in their towns and villages. To make that kind of arduous journey means that the choices that they faced are just unimaginable," said Miner.

I love Savage rifles. I want one in 338. -
My pack will vary in size depending on what im doing. But on a all day hunt I would have the basics plus a few more things. It's good to have things you may never need and hope to not need them. Rope, Knife, Few lighters, Small first aid kit, Something to eat lol a all day hunt can get long. Other than rope, knifes, add lighters everyones packs are different.
