    I had a dream about a big buck coming out out the woods.. I woke up aiming a bow at my dog.. LOL Im kidding haha o man.... Can't wait for the season.

    Them are some monster NY bucks.. Assuming them pictures were taken in NY.

    Thats what I look for the most. Were all the doe are because when the rut comes the bucks go right off there normal path to find the females. And shooting spikes sucks, one less nice buck and someone who used a tag for a small amount of meat most of them time.

    IMO it is to early for a mock scrape. And seeing bucks now is cool but they will go off in other ways when food drys up and rut hit's.

    Good old Mossberg 500 is what I use. And you can get one brand new for around 300 bucks.

    I would look at a bunch of last years models. It sorta sucks buying a bow right before the season, and right after seeing the same bow for 150 or more cheaper. Good luck with you're purchase.

    I have tried my luck a bunch of times. And my luck has shown threw every time cause I have never won a thing. lol The tickets I bought cost me 5 bucks apiece as well.

    After I took a second look at the video, you are right. Shame on me I didn't even notice the big boy in the back I was looking to see if the little guys were still in velvet. Good eye man lol.

    The sooner the better. But I think most people won't let just any person hunt their land. Land cost money to maintain and takes lots of hours of work to keep up. Unless their putting up some blood sweat and tears.. Or maybe some money lol its going to be hard. But good luck.

    I have been up there a few times to check things out and my unlce threw line in yesterday he had a few hook ups but fish are fresh and strong as ever. As far as numbers I have heard of a few running up the river in the morning hours and it slows down pretty fast. I could only assume with a little rain the fish will be packed in the river within 3 weeks or less.

    +1 Just back up until you're shooting a 6-8 inch group and work on getting that better. Same thing I do works well and gets you happy with you're shooting skills improving.
