  1. I use a bleat can early trying to get a doe. Then when rut is in full swing I'll use the grunt once in a while. Them bucks tend to slip up a bit when looking for a doe in rut season.
  2. Had no luck. I think I set up too close to were the deer were walking. Didn't hear much more than a 4-wheeler that messed my hunt up since they kept going in a circle not knowing what the heck they were doing at 8am. On my camera they ran a lot harder towards the night so i'm going to set up for tomorrow.
  3. Lot of people live and work on farms and have animals they need to feed. I'm sure thats why they sell the product. As far as baiting who knows.... Never really tried it...
  4. Just wondering if anyone has taken a deer in the rain? The main reason I ask is because I for the first time bought a trail camera and after I left it in the woods for a few days it had a remarkable amount of pictures on it. Some fox, raccoon and a ton of doe. But the next week it suposed to rain. Just wondering if anyone has gottten a deer while in the rain. And i'm sure it will make tracking a lot harder to. Any input??
  5. It's already happening. Ammo's price has increased dramatically in the past few years making it exspensive just to target shoot for a while let alone have ammo incase of something serious.
  6. I might want to think about garlic incase the vampires decide to come out and play along.
  7. Doe fawn call. It's still early. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.
  8. Zombies?? I know halloween is here but... I'll stick to some deer meat. Just give me a rocket launcher and some oreos and i'll be fine.
  9. Never really tried going by the books. But you never know untill you try.
  10. Nice lol. What kind of camera? I can see it's a wildgame but I know they have a few models. Nice looking pics.
  11. History making homeruns for sure.
  12. Cool video, I was looking in a local feild I saw a small 6 trying to jump on a doe. Time for some mock scrapes.
  13. I picked up a set of muzzy broadheads from wal-mart, that I had to put together myself. Not a bad broadhead for under 20 beans!!
  14. I'm normally walking in the dark so no way would I have a arrow nocked. Wouldn't want something silly to happen resulting in the loss of a finger or something. No deer is worth a nasty cut from fresh razors on my broadhead. Bill.
  15. Sucks to loose a deer. Look hard at the crack of dawn them flashlighs with the blue tint helps a lot.
  16. Welcome, good luck this season!
