Very cool! So how was it pulled off..., driveway alarm unit mounted with the camera? That's probably the first way I'd think to stage a shot like that.
-
I've always wanted to shoot a big pig with my ML, bow, and/or now x-bow. No place in particular is good with me.
-
That might explain why one of his antlers was broken off when I found him. Too much calcium concentrated in the sinus cavity instead of the antlers, lol
-
There is a "skin-like" membrane under the cape, but not a single skull I've ever skinned had a bone plate over the sinus cavity. I know what your talking about, but NEVER have I seen it covered with bone.
-
That's quite the sanctuary he has created there. Too bad his doorbell doesn't sound like a shotgun blast so those bucks would run and hide under the bed when it rang!
-
I'm running a little behind with my skull projects this year. I broke them out today to see where I was at on them all when I noticed the weird bone covering over the deadhead find in the middle. I've never seen anything like that before and just noticed it when I looked at them all together! Weird!
-
Ouch...., I've dragged year old skulls out of the woods that were in better shape than that! What a shame.

Thanks again everyone, and I hope all the rest of you quitters can stick with it as well! I ran out of likes to give away today, so I'll catch up with the rest of you tomorrow. Mark, I got more gear now than I know what to do with anymore and I'm lovin' it.... Oh wait a minute...... I just had an idea for some of my old junk! Props, lol

Thanks for the encouragement everyone! I don't see myself falling off this bandwagon anytime soon reverting back to my old tobbacky habits. I'm at the point now where it would be easier to quit entirely knowing what an affect the ciggs had on me, and seeing how much better I feel now. There may be hope for you yet Pygmy. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before technology catches up and soon you'll be sniffing on an "e-seat" that smells and tastes just as good.., if not better than the real thing, lol

Thanks guys! I feel so good about it I couldn't resist giving myself a little pat on the back! I know the offer has been put out there before by philoshop, but if any of you missed it, and want to quit smoking, I'd be more than happy to send you a "vaping starter package" to get you off the mosh posh of chemicals that "Big Tobbacco" got you hooked on. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you ever get tired of dumping $8-$10 a pack of lung busters and want to feel , taste, and smell a HUGE diference,

Today marks my one year anniversary off the stinkin' cigarettes! I can't even seem to keep committed to a wife or girlfriend that long, so this is quite the accomplishment for me! So... to celebrate the occasion, I'll be tooting on some of my newest favorite orange creamcicle e-jooce out of my electro ciggy ! I was puffing on 24mg of nicotine last year to start, but I'm now down to 9mg nicotine level in my juice and have no problem puffing on 3mg The decrease in nic levels was never planned, but I got no problems with the way it's working out. I never imagined in a million years I would be offended by the smell of tobacco smokers, but today, I'm finally disgusted by your stanky butts!

Either I get a new gun, or you get a new boyfriend....... and that's exactly what my ex-wife did! I need to think of a new way of phrasing that, lol

Nice pics chief! Doe's will scratch themselves with their pointy hooves and slice their ears up Doc. Summer bugs are rough on any deers ears if you take a minute to notice the annoying infestations and how deer are constantly twitching and flapping those blood rich fly magnets.

I'd like to order Happy Meal #1, #4, and #11 with a large Coke, 4 straws, and small onion rings .............TO GO! Keep the silver!
-
Ahhhh..... sound like a couple of great "hold my beer, and watch this...." stories from the weekend! So it really comes as no surprise we're slowly sliding down a few links on the food chain lately.

Haha- you guys are something else! I'm sure many of you remember this show. I think George may have been onto something, lol https://www.youtube.com/embed/82b2gJ6o3pE -
Absolutley "no-mans land" exists....... every deer I've ever lost has been hit there.
-
Love seeing those little guys! Nice shots! It doesn't look like they minded that you were there. Do they have a tolerance to humans there, or were you hiding in the rose bushes?

I don't want to ruin the movie for anyone who hasn't seen it in the last 15 years..... but Dalton's sidekick gets killed, lol I forgot to chill the eggs and they stuck to the shells and were a mess to peel. It wasn't pretty, but they just got smashed up anyhow, so no big deal. Maybe I'll send the leftovers off to Paulas B-Day party!
-
Thank you for the help! I can't wait to see the looks on their faces when I present this dish of dishes!

1'st question... I'm about to boil up some farm fresh brown eggs for a salad. I think I remember hearing they will float when they're done, but I had a bad experience with my own "fresh eggs" from my own barn a while back with some so I'm a little nervous. I've boiled a dozen up for 1/2 hr and they're still not floatin'...... that don't seem right? 2'nd question..... I'm watching "Roadhouse" with Patrick Swayze right now on CMT. How many of you think you could have kicked his butt in that movie if things got ugly after you had a few? Just wonderin',lol....

My sister works at MOOG in Elma where they recently had two bears spotted on their hiking trails. It was such an event that it makes the local news here when bear are spotted where we're not accustomed to seeing them regularly. From what she told me, her headquarters called the DEC but they wouldn't respond to the call due to how common bear sighting have become around here lately. Apparently they (her company) shut down the trails to employees for a while until the dust settles. I'm sure with a taste of human blood that any animal can become a "man killer", but I don't think we should label them all as that based on a few isolated instances where there may be something else contributing to this behavior. JMO..., BUT I DO UNDERSTAND WHERE YOU ARE COMING FROM.

X's 2..?

Ouch.... not again, lol Touchy subject, so I'll just say "Happy 28'th Birthday Paula" .... so I don't get in trouble!
