  1. I would bait the area. Just throw some trail cameras on the ground and wait.
  2. Winter Rye planted middle of September. Deer seem to like it.
  3. Not a back handed remark at all. Listen, when you are always in trouble for something in life, and then you bring that to a forum, it might mean something. Just sayin.
  4. Makes you wonder.... Some members are always crying about their "problems" with the police.... Makes you wonder, lol!
  5. PM, or on a thread? That is unacceptable on any forum I have been on as far as I know.
  6. The last time I made goose I made it in to Chili. I ground the meat along with some bacon, lightly sautéed it, and put it in the crock pot with the chili. It tasted just like the chili I make with ground beef. I was surprised, it was really good.
  7. Something to consider, thanks. How large is your disc?
  8. That's a great thread, thanks.
  9. Hey all. Maybe some of you can start me off in the right direction looking for a tiller for my tractor. I know nothing about them, except that the gent that usually tills my plots has a huge one, and a bigger tractor. My tractor is 26 hp. I have about 3/4 acre to till. Is that enough for the tilling I want to accomplish? What would be a quality brand? Thanks for any replies.
  10. Yeah, that's how I plant small seeds, and will continue to. It is mainly for the obscene amount of pelletized lime I must spread.
  11. I think we all use our plots for hunting Doc. Maybe not necessarily hunting over them, but that is why we are all here right?
  12. That is exactly what I did. What a pleasure to use.
  13. Got a new spreader. Man what a difference from the one I pulled with the ATV! Made it a lot easier to spread, that is for sure. Next on the list is a rototiller. Tractor implements are the way to go.
  14. Food plotting is fun and benefits the wildlife. To be honest, I enjoy putting in my plot, and watching the deer on my trail cams, almost as much as hunting. They eat the heck out of it, that is for sure. And it is a small plot, a half acre. I want to plant late season foods to give them a boost during the winter months. My plot lasted well in to December last year, and with the lite snow, they used it.
  15. Very nice! What do you spray your trees with? Look very healthy.
  16. I chuckled when I heard the names. (Real or not) I did not think anything of it at first, but you are right. Real people died. Sad. But sometimes making light of a situation is what we do as humans, even when not appropriate.
  17. My neighbor called me, apparently I do not really have a driveway anymore
  18. Yeah he is, met him while I was working. Friendly fella.
  19. Yeah, I looked as well, could not find anything. I could swear that it was once the rule. There are a few places I could snipe deer easily from a boat, if that is the case. Fish in a barrel. Just would be a little sad...
  20. Now I have the idea of putting a floating deer blind in my pond, lol!
  21. I thought you could not shoot a rifle over a waterway. Anyway, what about those canoes with the straight transom? You could even use a trolling motor.
  22. Me too, how embarrassing!
  23. 2012 Honda Ridgeline, 44,000 miles on it already
