  1. I just have extra sd cards. take it out, put the new one in.
  2. Two examples of Armed employees of USDA US Forest Service Criminal Investigators. USDA OIG Special Agents.
  3. "FULL of false info,eh? You point out a few editing errors and that makes it FULL of false info?" I posted most of the article, lol. "It states a "LIMITED" number of IRS agents. How many agents in the IRS? How many are armed SA"s? That's Limited!" No idea what that means. The IRS always had LEO's and they are armed. "The INS is a real agency, but N stands for Naturalization. SO WHAT?" There is no agency called INS. Border patrol has used all kinds of weaponry for the last 50 years. If you are an LEO, you know that hollow points are a standard round. (Really?)They are not for "killing people." They are used to stop a threat more quickly than FMJ, and to diminish the possibility of a pass through that could endanger more lives. I cant think of one LE Agency that does not use hollow points.
  4. "A very "Limited" number of IRS agents (under the authority of the Department of the Treasury (mainly during Prohibition to go after gangsters like Al Capone)" False, the IRS has had Special Agents that investigate fraud for years. I know of no SA's that are not armed. "Other agencies have been created and they are also allowed to carry and possess firearms. They are: Park Rangers The Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms The Drug Enforcement Agency The Border Patrol Immigration and Nationalization Service The Department of Homeland Security" The Border Patrol is "Homeland Security" There is no such agency as "Immigration and Nationalization Service" "Now within the last six years (under President Barack Hussein Obama Jr.) agencies that have been recently armed are: IRS BLM USDA EPA" IRS, already explained. BLM has had armed officers agents. They usually carry an m-4 as well because they usually work alone, and some are stationed near the border. USDA has had SA's as long as I can remember. EPA, not sure. " and hollow-point ammunition for?" Hmm, that one is self explanatory. FMJ are better for LE? Think not.
  5. The article is full of false information. Just letting you know.
  6. Sad we are losing a major manufacturer of firearms in this nanny state. I feel for the employees as well. They are getting shafted, that sucks. Real bad. I am sure that they had a lobbying component here, that maybe was not that effective with the safe act, but now we will lose that too.
  7. Sometimes they are as sweet as candy. I like the cheese spread idea.
  8. Don't know. Would depend if it was a big enough property. I like to have my own space.
  9. Very easy, grows late too. Mid September is good. I plant clover in the spring.
  10. Brassicas will suck up all the N that's for sure. (plus the disease and pest problem of them being planted over and over.) You might want to try Winter Rye for late season. The deer ate the heck out of mine, stays green long, greens up early, and easy to grow.
  11. The ammo is fine. I believe the rifle has to go through a ffl now.
  12. Could not really answer the first question. (so I did not vote) Question 2 and 3, no.
  13. I wish I could sharpen a knife like you. I respect that, and see where you are coming from. I can do it ok, and would if I had to. But never can get it razor sharp. I just ordered 2 of these knives. But it is purely function. And that is it.
  14. I have been throwing clover seed down at the same time I plant either the Brassica or the Winter Rye in late summer. It seems to take over in the spring summer for a early food plot. I mow the clover with a brush hog on the highest setting about 3-4 times per summer. I have to plant when I am up at the camp regardless if there is rain coming, so far so good. If you are able to time it perfectly that would be even better. If it was me, and I was starting a new food plot this year, (and time and money are not a concern) I would spray Roundup this spring, if it seems to have killed all the weeds I would till it and plant some clover. You can get rid of some rocks, and have a food plot for the deer to get used to using. It will also loosen the ground to make tilling a lot easier for the fall plot. Then in late summer you can till the clover under (a great source of Nitrogen) and plant your late season crop. I have to add I am a newbie. I have been doing this for three years. I have had pretty good luck. There are guys on this forum with a lot more experience, and they have given me great advice. Oh, also don't forget the lime. Do that as soon as you can.
  15. That's what I have heard. I have had good luck rotating Brassica, clover, and winter rye on my 1/2 acre plot.
  16. That's a bolt action? You can put whatever you want on a bolt action.
  17. Very nice. Pictures would be cool.
  18. I like NYS as well. I like the lay of the land. The mix of state land, and private. The climate is pretty good, except for a few months. There are lots of deer, turkey, and grouse. I have a buddy that lives in N.C. He is a trucker and has been to every corner of the continental US, and when he comes to my place in central NY, he says there is nothing like it. I tried to have him expand on that, but he couldn't. Just said it was unique, and soothing. I hunted on a friend of a friends property that owned 900 acres near the Catskills. Unbelievable. I don't need the biggest racks, or crazy numbers, but if I could have that 900 acres to manage, that would be pretty sweet.
  19. I am used to seeing her posts almost everyday. Hope she is ok.
  20. Love the 30-06. Plenty of power. Plenty. Out of most hunting rifles, the recoil seems soft to me. I mean the recoil is there, but has never bothered me a bit. Shooting 12 gauge slugs starts to suck after a while, IMO.
  21. Except I think you wrote as they "fine their steak and chicken." I was wondering about that, lol.
