  1. I call BS. Were you hunting with Biz or Growie, hmmm or both?
  2. Honestly I don’t really notice any kick on that gun. It’s the charge that seemed most accurate from my ML.
  3. I have done both to check and the weight never varied more than 1g or so based on a measured 120 volume. Like you, I don’t weigh it anymore. Fill the tube to 120 and it’s good.
  4. Thought the 50lb bags did an acre. I used two bags on less than an acre.
  5. Check the local QDMA for soybean seeds - great great deal (if the deer don't crush them before they have a chance like they did mine)
  6. I think early season, you are most likely to kill a buck in the PM on or near food or bed (if you know it). Then as rut kicks in late OCT, it changes and I have had more morning success with seeking and cruising bucks. Late season back to PM on food. Just my experience.
  7. OK, by the power vested in me by no one, you are in!
  8. 2012- Don’t recall date first year I hunted but it was early Nov in the morning. 2013 -11/3 9am 2014 - 10/31 10am 2015 - no buck 2016 - 10/29 7am 2017 - early nov pm 2018 - 10/1 6pm 2019 - 11/4 - 10am best of my recollection
  9. I might try the oats this year. I love the frigid forage brassicas but I need to change it up.
  10. I think it contains very low levels of THC so a whole field might have some effect.
  11. Better for soil. Same reason farmers rotate crops. Example clover adds nitrogen while brassicas use it up. Rotating 2 is a good thing.
  12. Bonus the deer are not the most alert when hunting them around hemp. Lol
  13. You will want to rotate anyway so try what you think is best and then something else next season.
  14. If I had the equipment and could only plant one thing, it would be corn standing for entire season or beans if they wouldn't be demolished before the season starts. But I am limited to seed that only needs to be plants at 1" or less and beans get crushed before the season starts. Different areas also seem to have different results. Brassicas are eaten down all summer and fall at my one property and the other they aren't touched until post season for the most part.
  15. I think odds continue to get better through muzzleloader. Pulling for cabin, rob and Otto and all the others that are still looking to score one. Keep at it. Only takes one opportunity!
  16. Oh and buy your strings from Steve B. In all seriousness, they are the quietest strings you can buy. Mountain muffler strings.
  17. Just don't drop Andrew's name - sure way to see a price increase.
  18. My wife was kind enough to finish cleaning and vacuum sealing the deboned meat today from Natalie's doe on Saturday. I am done butchering unless the F2F participant connects this weekend.
