Ready to miss with the yote rig. All sighted in. Weighs less than 7lbs unloaded. Tribute to Stormy. One shot zeroing where you aim at handwarmer, shoot them aim at warmer again and freeze frame and move crosshairs to first shot. Worked well. I shot a few extra but 7 shots total and last 3 destroyed warmer at 100. So when I miss it will be @TreeGuy ‘s fault not my equipment. Love this AR. My favorite.- 9790 replies

Told you! lol I soaked mine in the stuff my wife uses to mop our tile floors. It helped but now has a strong fabuloso smell - perhaps a cover scent?
-
"That's when the ole wolf laid the lead to him. Shot him in the ass or the shoulder, not sure." lol that was hilarious to the extent I could understand him. Very cool buck.

Maybe I should give the double wrap a try. Bet it’s faster than vacuum sealing.

WELL SCREW YOU TOO!
-
Good option but now you have me looking at chamber units.
-
Mine is 7-8 too. Why a chamber? That much better? They seem expensive.

Our food saver is biting the dust. We use ours a fair amount. Cabelas had a commercial version for 299 that looked decent. Any recommendations on a sealer that will suck a golf ball through a garden hose? Enter @Pygmy.

Sounds like you are looking for something portable. I can attest to the quality of the redneck blinds. They have withstood everything thrown at them including 70mph windstorms without a hiccup. I leave them up year round. But they are not portable. If you are leaving it out for the season (which I think is a good idea if you have a set location), paint those windows black on the outside when closed. I noticed a real difference in terms of deer noticing the open windows before and after painting. Very few deer looked studied the blind with the windows open after I painted the windows black. Open and blacked out (which they always saw) looked pretty much the same to them. Before I painted them black, when I opened a window, it seemed every deer noticed something was a bit off immediately. Not anymore.

Help or advise on how to manage 5 acre pc
moog5050 replied to luberhill's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
I agree with grampy. Sounds like you might benefit from moving the blind to cover field and bedding but predominate wind and access are considerations. I also would not hesitate to try a real food plot, although its effectiveness may be diminished depending on what crops are grown on either side of your property. Minimally it may be very effective early and late season. Also tough not to over hunt 6 acres if that is the only place you hunt. -
Interesting choice of words Goooooose!

Where did the bullet go after it literally entered the colon/ large intestines on its way out the neck? Not a doctor but this is very confusing based on my knowledge of anatomy.

We have had some fun and laughs for sure - mostly at my expense. lol

Quigley-Ford 4-16x50 custom reticle scope
moog5050 replied to moog5050's topic in Hunting Items For Sale and Trade
LOL - its not even made - its just the certificate to have one made to whatever gun/ammo you will use it on. Just not needed but if it doesn't find a home, it may be made for the 7mm-08. -
Supposed to rain all day Saturday - should clear roads off. You may have a little clean up but might be a good day to simply drive it to storage.

It goes something like this: Andrew: "wait, wait, wait …." Moog: "tell me when" Andrew: "bang … sorry the yote/fox was on my side and only 50yds" OR Moog: "How far do you think he is" Andrew: "150ish (really 300yds) - shoot" Moog: "Bang - darn it" Andrew: "You suck" OR Andrew: "get on it …. yes the eyes way way out there" Moog: "seriously, that's a long ways" Andrew: "shoot, shoot shoot - its running away" Moog: "bang - darn it" Andrew: "You suck, gotta text the boys about another miss by you." Be forewarned …. just kidding Andrew is great and has done his best to teach a predator hunting newbie. At some point, I will actually learn something and get it done. I think this is the year!

If you want me to hold it for you, happy to do that. Just PM me. I am not in any rush. But not pushing you either. Just offering. It is a great deal on a top end scope. -
Sorry to hear it John.

No kind statements allowed! plus, shh - I have been telling @treeguy that I can't let any other hunters hunt with me due to certain state regulations. Don't want him shooting my big bucks. He already shoots all the good yotes before me.
