Probably the spring in the mag has too much tension. I have a 10rd mag that is reduced to 5 by a compressed spring for hunting and it only works with 4 rounds because the mag spring tension is too much. Swap the mag or just the spring and I bet it will work with 10. We can try it with one I have sitting around larry. I don't have a 300 but I think it just uses a standard 223 mag.

I am with you Biz. I like a nice lawn. It doesn’t really take too much time or expense to keep it that way on 1/2 acre or less. But when I was growing up and cutting 3 acres I couldn’t wait for the heat to burn the lawn out. Lol

Had the best fertilizer weed control guy for 10yrs. Retired and the group that took over was awful last year. So I just did my first application of fertilizer and crabgrass control. Will be cut next nice day.

Lol. Well I am more confused than ever. Ok so I will likely start with a box of the 139 whitetail and 140 fed premium and see how they do. Thanks all! And thanks Dave for the offer. Not sure if I will get into handloads so just trying to find something factory that is accurate. I do appreciate the offer!

Curious if there is a consensus on the most accurate factory ammo. Before I start buying different brands for testing, thought it would be good to start with one that worked well for several others. Let me know your experience. Thx. Thinking that 140g weight would be good middle ground.
