They seem to regularly get hit by cars going much slower than 112mph. That's encouraging.

Been a little bummed since the limb went but I bought a back up bow it's coming along nicely. Confidence back. One shot at 23yds tonight. Followed that with a bunch more in the black and it all felt easy. Confidence is so critical to shooting well! oh and new limbs are supposed to ship this week. Things on the archery front looking real good. This bow is shooting a 680g arrow at a whopping 165fps. It will do the job.

51lb Covert hunter. 50lbs from any bow is plenty with a good shot, tuned bow and sharp BHs. Heavy arrows don't hurt either.

Amazn smoker pellet tray is awesome!. I use it inside my MB electric smoker. It will last a full 12-14 hours if filled. Plus you can cold smoke. Cheap too.

This guy just flat out gets it done on bears and big whitetails. This summer he said he wanted to kill a bear from the ground with a recurve. 4 hunts later ..... heart shot from the ground with a recurve. Impressive hunter and really nice genuine guy. Sent me a bow when my bow delaminated.

Buddy from WI connected on a nice bear at 9yds from the ground. Said it got as close as 5yds. That type of heart pounding action is awesome. Lots of work constantly baiting but it paid off for him. Couldn't be happier for him.

No idea how good they are but they are code and many have them in my mothers area. She does. And I assume they are better than plywood which is the comment I responded to - about having plywood ready for hurricanes. Not sure I would compare metal covered windows with an imaginary product.

Yep my mom is not worried about the wind, it's the surge. She headed to a friend's more inland for that reason.

You mean like a office nerd driving a raptor. Lol. Best vehicle I ever owned and includes comparison with a BMW 550ix Dinan tuned that I owned before the truck. I actually find it very useful for lots of non work purposes. To the point that I will always have at least one pick up in the family. My wife now wants a Silverado or GMC.

Same with my mother in Naples. She is prepared but would prefer she came to our place.

New ones all use shock collars. I could see an issue (prematurlely opening) if the blade is not fully seated in the collar. At least 15 deer can attest they that leave big holes. Admittedly, I shoot a heavy poundage bow.

I have always had good results with them. Be sure to check that the blades are fully seated in the collar including when you nock your arrow. Holes are huge. It's what I will use if the compound makes it to the woods.
