    We hunt 3 properties within a few miles of each other. Only this one has ticks and lots at that. Some type of plant holds them. Specifically this stuff. Not sure what it is. But when you walk through it, guaranteed to have ticks on you. Like a ground vine

    Just saw a nice buck. Great mass. AlreAdy an odd year where I am seeing more bucks than normal. Haven't sat this properly in 2 years and didn't expect much but I guess you never know. Wish my buddy with the buck tag wasn't working today. But good intel for him.

    We have them both ways. I prefer facing the action with the chance to either get up early if seated or wait until it passes and shoot it then. Honestly, I just hate constantly checking over both shoulders but some stands, I have too. Cover is important.
