Folks need to realize , grocery stores have 3 days of food on hand , so when the Gov. says prepare for two weeks , those that build their house of straw are in a much worse place then those who build of brick . Off to the gym , and those milfs and college girls had better be there !

A good lesson for folks that don’t keep at least a couple weeks of food and household supplies at home . Samantha is often out of town all week this time of year, so fresh food is often limited at her apt when she returns , she went to Wegmans in Buff last night for her normal shopping , she learned . Our friends son is an avenge Joe, white collar suburban guy , family of four , and has 3 food grade barrels of water and 3 or 6 months ,I forget , of food on three long shelves in his basement . Mostly Mountain House #10 cans , with a 30 year shelf life . May seem like overkill to many but he’s not in line at Wegmans , checking out with whatever he could scrounge up . Our shelves, we try to buy stuff on sale in mass and replace as it gets used, although since the kids moved out we haven’t kept up as much as we should . I wanted to buy some Mountain House myself , but the shelves I had in mind are still full of our oldest ones stuff , so I put it off .

Good thing I’ve got 60 - 70 pounds of deer meat , and a couple shelves of canned goods , pasta ,tuna and such . I may need to order cigars though , my ammo is around a couple thousand rounds .

Yep we just got the email . We have calling hours at 4 then we’re hitting downtown with the drunk young folks who ,also don’t care . Plus I just got a shipment of N95 respirators and have another in route , and I picked up one at Lowe’s today, but used that scraping walls and dry locking my daughters basement walls ,in the one wet area . Juat need to figure out how to drink with it on .....

Found my new funnel ,right in my daughters new yard ! Low fence hunting ! They enter and leave that old school yard , through her side yard , going to need to make a snare or perhaps one of those pits with sharpened sticks like they use for, lions and such . Perhaps the snare , that way if a kid goes through ,we just have to cut him down unharmed, and reset the snare .

Yesterday Mrs Nomad returned from shopping , as I helped her unload the Outback I noticed she only bought two rolls of toilet paper, not her normal big pack . Why just two I asked , she said she didn’t want to appear like the hoarders buying armloads . Thats nice and all but , I’m still going to need to ,well you know . Its like the Johnny Carson toilet paper shortage of ‘73 all over again .

Daughter in Buffalo is happy , she was auditing a university that’s a 3 1/2 hour drive away , she stays for a few days then drives back . Now since it’s basically shut down she doesn’t have to go . Although she’ll be pissed if her trip to Spain in May is cancelled !

Ya I never had a job where working from home was possible ,can’t build gas stations , load freight , or fire fires from home . Plus since my wife is home , forcing me to work there would be a hostile work environment.

Scotch Ale one of my go to’s. Today I used it to wash down 4 ibuprofen . Man painting all day , my feet hurt, my shoulders are killing me , (I can’t get a glass out of the cupboard ) my back is locked up . I sat on the floor to trim my toenails ,and it took using both hands and 10 or 15 seconds to get off the floor then walk hunched over to a chair . yep I’ll,be back at it tomorrow.....

I’ve considered my wife to be a carrier for many years now ......

Ha in 30 years I’ll be 91 ! Winter is slow time for me , I was waiting for this chance , plus it’s empty only till the 21 st . Although with bad arthritis in both feet standing all day on cement and hardwoods has been very painful . That and I’ve been moving furniture over each time I go and the Mrs yells at me for moving things up,and down stairs by myself , she may have a point but I’m stubborn.
