Had my friend do these for me , one on right was this years bow season Xbow, one on left a few years back compound bow , just had the rack laying around in a pile . Both shot about 40 yards and a few years apart . Forgive the messy table , Mrs. is going through some papers .

Fun fact , years ago the FD hired a guy who was a baseball player , 3 years in the Majors, and finished up on the Roch .Red Wings . He was a catcher , so the guys on the dept hockey team figured he might make an ok goalie . One day a fight broke out and the goalie , joined in ( third man in ) . My friend told him , “ Ray this is hockey where we fight like men ,one on one , not pu$$y baseball where everyone piles on . “ https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/news/local/communities/irondequoit/2014/08/28/city-firefighter-royal/14665113/

I strongly prefer the trigger covered by a holster , and one that can reholstered , one handed without looking . Pocket holsters are removed from pocket to reholster .

I agree , but resources will be stretched thin , and OT will be through the roof . One crew has contact not knowing PT has the virus , they come back to the firehouse , later to find out PT has virus , now that house is closed for two weeks . So all four shifts can’t get their gear , so 25 guys can’t work . -

Is the study on N95 respirators or surgical masks ( what most wear ) ? I highly doubt it was on N95 as we were issued N95 s and fit tested annually , used them on EMS calls to protect us while treating certain PT.s , with TB , flu and so on . N95 Masks do filter out bacteria and viruses , surgical ones that you see everyone wearing on the news no . I agree as I’ve stated prior in this thread ,isolation, strong immune system ,and hand washing are your best line of defense. I have a supply of N95 as I wear them sanding, spray painting and so on . Now I’m glad to have them , just in case . I wish I had been ahead of the curve and bought 100k worth of them , could have made 10x my money ! -

Surgical masks which most wear in these situations yes that’s true . N95 masks are fairly effective though , the supply and production has long since not been able to keep up with demand , there also one use masks , and have to be handled correctly while removing and disposal . Basically there are none in the supply chain now . I have some and a package of some more in route . What is an N95 filtering facepiece respirator (FFR)? An N95 FFR is a type of respirator which removes particles from the air that are breathed through it. These respirators filter out at least 95% of very small (0.3 micron) particles. N95 FFRs are capable of filtering out all types of particles, including bacteria and viruses. What makes N95 respirators different from facemasks (sometimes called a surgical mask)? Infographic: Understanding the difference between surgical masks and N95 respiratorspdf icon N95 respirators reduce the wearer’s exposure to airborne particles, from small particle aerosols to large droplets. N95 respirators are tight-fitting respirators that filter out at least 95% of particles in the air, including large and small particles. -
It’s currently being investigated by NYSP , more I can’t say at this point .

There’s two Pond roads ,one that runs basically through the Park and one a few miles away actually in Bloomfield over by my spot . Which lead to my confusion at first .
