That’s correct , each year we had to go through “ Fit testing “ of both our scba masks and N95 masks . A series of movements and talking while wearing each , while hooked up to some contraption that measures leaks , not Just no breads but you need the correct size and a proper fit . The N95 is fairly effective for the virus although isolation and hand washing , a strong immune system are your first line of defense it seems . You’re not going to find many if you don’t have them now, demand has exceeded production by what 10,000 fold ? for some time , hospitals , FD, EMS are close to running out or have run out . I have a few, and have some sources working on more , but every home store, auto parts store, paint store and so on has been out of them for some time now , who knows what’s in their warehouse but thats going to be it for sometime . -

N95 masks are basically gone , and the ones you can find are $6-$8 each, up a bit from a buck I’m ok with that in fact grateful that I could buy more to supplement the few I had at home . We were issued them on the FD, so it’ll be interesting to see if FD’s , and so on will be able to replace their’s my guess is no . Most are made in China , and I believe there’s two major manufacturers who are trying to supply the world right now . -
Hum a Democrat? Well then my friend Jay from out West, lawyer , hunter , somewhat of a gun guy , loves craft beer and chasing women . If he was President I’m sure he’d hook me up ! Make me an ambassador, to a warm friendly country , with a smoking hot staff or something . So top pay for an ambassador is just under 200k , unless it a no show gig, ill need some kickbacks or a big book deal too .

Ya if only my second one had worked !

I believe Snyder’s is where Lawdwaz and I met for lunch , been to Duffs many times when our kids went to UB . Tomorrow the Mrs and I are meeting our daughter for lunch as although she lives in Buff. she’s out of town for work most of the winter , but not this week . It looks like The Gate House will be our lunch stop .

Ya the timing with the election could be bad, and it’s hard watching stock holdings drop even knowing it’s cyclical . -

When it’s at record levels , you’re going to see some profit taking as well as panic selling over the latest news issue . I rode out the 2,008 drop with out making any changes , and to say I’ve recovered nicely would be an understatement. Never buy/sell on emotion, stay the course and for us old farts hold a balanced portfolio that matches your risk tolerance and time horizon. -
Had one camera in that spot , last time I swapped cards I saw 25 beds in the snow around it ( had bedded pics on that one too) , which is why I moved another camera to that spot . Fairly open area just on top ( West) of a slope and pretty near the North edge of the woods . They seem mostly to bed facing the North field or NNW , sometimes W .

Use the eggs, for egg sacks for trout fishing , the rest for garden fertilizer.

The wife ,dog and I took a walk on my hunting spot, today , I thought about stopping at The Other Half to grab some beer ,but didn’t , I try to avoid the place on week ends, particularly warm sunny ones like today .

Anyone do, it anymore ? In the ‘70s every kid in my neighborhood had hip boots and a sucker spear . We’d go at night with lanterns and flashlights , I can still hear the sound of the spear head hitting the rocks in the creek, great times. There was a creek in the neighborhood that went into Lake Ontario , it winded through some private roads, basically across folks front yards ( sometimes through my buddies basement ) , but nobody cared who fished ,speared or played in it , today I’d imagine the swat team would be called ,different times then . Still have my spear gotta be 45 years old at least .

On my third pair of Mucks, pair #2 got holes in the neoprene, worked ok moving fast through water, but if standing in it , you’d notice water coming in . That pair got reassigned to snow blowing and yard work , now the sole is coming off . id like to see them make a pair with some sort of collars that you could pull up for additional height when needed for those of us that cross ditches and creeks that at times are too high for normal Mucks . Like your hip boots folded down for normal walking and low water ,pull up,for higher water . Ill most likely stick with Mucks but I’m open to, trying others .

I had two cameras in this spot , yet one didn’t have any pictures, should at least had me walking to it each time . I pared these down as mostly small bucks and does , actually had, skunks, raccoons, Fox, coyotes, deer and squirrels , these night pics aren’t to clear either .

Don’t bring all that legal mumbo jumbo onto it .

Smiths is who did the work , those are after the repair pics. Three generations of my family have gone there . Although he kept pushing the pick up date back three times which was annoying and inconvenient as F@#$ Not close to totaled out . 8k in damage which shocked me as it was drivable ,trunk ,hood ,doors , lights etc all worked no leaks ,no unibody damage , as my other post said ,sensors ,cameras , etc ran the bill up . Cars worth 13-14 k .

Not good at judging , but while deer hunting a few years back two came through the size of German shepherds. Unlimited food and most hunters wont hunt there anymore due to all the recent building , I guess they can’t outrun the cops ......
