Fawn just walked into beans with three hens .

does at ten yards , one turkey at 35 . Now three doe under me .

Not shooting does in bow , gladly meet at Brewhouse though .

Saw five before I sat down , two more in woods and two are in beans way off .

Walked right up to her , on way in . No camo or face piece on yet , well. camo pants .

They’ve met five times in the WS , Cards have won 3 of them , it would be nice to go 4-2 ! Long way to go , and you never know which Cards team will show up .... Oh and Cards play Red Sox in Boston next year , I plan on being there .

I’m not sure it’s broken , it’s thinner and looks to go straight up . Also with all these albino, piebald , and brindle does walking around , I’ll have to find my antlerless tags and toss one in my pack . Ive already changed where I’m sitting tonight too lol .

2 doe, 2 bucks . Bucks were together, looked like a couple of 2 1/2s . Nothing close to being close . One small snort or blow behind me , I was standing with bow in hand release clipped to loop last 45 minutes , blow was right where I expected deer to come from . Idk, I had wind and its very thick between stand and blow , something alerted it . Tomorrow night it’s all out ,new stand on trail right near where the big ones bed and move through last light , East wind is only one that “ works” , slipping into the stand will be a challenge . Cant walk down trail and it’s thick on all sides. By trail I ,mean a ten foot wide mowed path between two thickets , big guys don’t walk the length hoping they get to me though .

You know what kind, watch all games on mlb , went to Pittsburgh and flew to St Louis this year to se them . their up 11-0 in the 2nd btw knocked out braves starter before the 1st ended . See I got a magic phone I can hunt and monitor game . Rare east wind , deer bed east move west in afternoon here Had to hunt

Playing devils advocate, what ever happened to “ shoot any legal deer that makes you happy ?” id bet my left nut that if she gets on other hunters land she gets shot . The more she gets posted on places like FB and passed around in texts the bigger target she becomes .

If you said don’t shoot it , I can say with 100% certainty that I would give that some brief consideration .

I’d drop it in a heart beat, the next guy will . We had a cool 5pt piebald running around , friend told me that the farmer next farm over didn’t want it shot, well I don’t hunt his farm all that much certainly didn’t have stands on it ,, but I passed it twice out of respect of his wishes . Once it was broad side at 30 yards ( gun ) It was never seen again, and I had watched it a few times in bow and 2x on opening day of gun on two different farms , then gone .

Ha , ya I get that . Never had a truck in 44 years of driving and hunting , just got it to pull a camper , and toss a deer in back , which turns out to be much harder then a hitch hauler or mini van .

I’ll say wife wanted me to drive back and look ...... Short bed, and I had a long handled rake that doesn’t fit unless you have it just at the right angle ,I think I “ closed “ it but rake prevented it from closing all the way and it popped back,open . Live and learn . Now I owe him some beer .

Got home ,tailgate was down..... recycling bin, with scissors jack, hatchet , two machetes ( one really nice one ) and various odds and ends gone ! Called farmer ,as when i pulled out I swerve back and forth to knock off mud from tires and thought that would be a good place to look , well he drove over and there it all was !

46 and dead calm .In a new stand in the back of hardwoods already depressed , nothing in field on walk in and nothing in woods . Heavy canopy. Edit . Small single deer milling about at 40 yards .

It’s raining today and great weather the next four ! Check that the next nine days look pretty good !
