So our youngest , just bought a 2,016 Civic, she had a 2,002 Civic . The insurance co. , whom I’ve delt with for 40 years ,gave me a quote of roughly the same amount ( had full coverage still,on 02 ) , this is a family run Nationwide and I’m on the 3rd generation there now, they’ve always been good to,me . Well when they learned that she now lives in Buffalo not Webster , her rate went up over $700 , they said it’s all by zip code and Buffalo, she’s right in the city is pricey . Online research shows Nationwide to be way over everyone else’s prices in Buffalo . So my questions are , who do,you Buffalo folks use ? Any local office you recommend , and what about ones like Geico ? They come in cheap, do they cancel over anything ? She has no points and I don’t believe she ever made a claim , oh one minor fender bender they paid out like a grand or so . Thanks

Actually the ‘90s were way worse in Roch . IIIRC 70 -90 murders per year for a per capita rate of four times NYC one year . Guns shots were almost heard nightly at the firehouse .

Funny story , many years ago someone stole the solar cover off my sisters pool during the night. The problem for the thief was, when you drag a solar cover across lawns , it leaves a distinct path that even I can track .

Looks good on the Subaru ! The thief must have never seen the truck owner ..... If you’re like me, you’ll be checking every truck for miles around . I had someone take my “ receiver hitch” a few years back , I believe it was at a girls B.B. game at Mercy High school of all places , at least that’s where I noticed it gone .

All hot dogs should be natural casings, and anyone who cooks them by boiling needs to be kicked out of the country or at least kept from reproducing. I look forward to trying some of these others , and feel a bit sad for those in NYC, but the winner is of course Zweigle’s.

In honor of your Birthdays, I sat in my garage last night and smoked a cigar and drank a couple Gin and tonics ! I just didn’t know it was at the time ....

Ok the key to any cooler is to,pre cool it. The night before put ice in it, the next day toss what’s left and pack,it as full as possible, and put in cooled down food and drinks . Use ice from your freezer, not from an “ ice cooler “at a store . That ice is wet ice at about 30 degrees , my freezer is at minus ten , so that gives me ice about 40 degrees colder to start with . My Orca is big and heavy but ice lasts 5 or 6 days out on my patio in the sun . the last thing you want to do is take a cooler from a hot garage and put store bought ice in it , then open it a lot . Also dont drain the Water . You can also buy a cheaper cooler, and drill some holes and spray expanding foam in it ,buy the low expanding spray foam . This will,greatly improve any cheap cooler . Cheers ! I got this Orca for $200 delivered to my door , I’ll have cold beer the rest of my life . its kinda funny , guys here will drop a grand on a bow that they’ll use for a few years then upgrade , but $200 for a cooler that’ll out live them is nuts .....

Now I also like the New England roll, but it’s hard to,load it . Meat sauce , and onions required , some spicy mustard and perhaps dill pickles . That’s a sloppy mess ! Damn I got pork tender loins for the grill tonight .....

Had them for Father’s Day ,( constanzas pepperjack ) Being from Roch. I go,with Zweigels, and I had to bring them on planes to the West coast more then once .

So far that date looks doable for me .

Wife buys it, it’s not bad as the grapefruit flavor while there is not to over powering . Nothing I seek out though .

I like the Imperial one the best, and $15 for the 12 pack is an attraction, I’m getting tired of $15 four packs ! That and I like to support Genny .

Well RG&E ,appeared to shut off their power today..... the bad news is it drove them all outside for the rest of the day .

Great pics and deer . That’s a nice system , when I had my MK 85, getting an11 cap on the nipple in that little space with warm fingers was hard ,with cold ones next to impossible , in a timely manor . All the little tools were just as had to,use as well .
