Yes. Im on a gun blog that has a couple rabid anti gun posters , makes it intesting . Back in the day , I had many letters to the ed. in the paper where I supported hunting and guns. I’ve never bought a gun at Dicks. But each Christmas I buy 8, $50 gift cards ,and other assorted gifts. Last year 10 Yeti large tumblers for gifts to for the guys at work and the land owners . Often get clothes for our daughters there as well . Easily spend a grand or so there each year. As the Raven said,never more !

One time I as on stand and thought for a minute that I forgot my Girl Scout cookies. Honestly I never had a scary monument . Canoed all over North America from the Yukon to Ontario ,Hunted rattle snakes in the deserts of AZ at night 50 miles from the next town, to name a few adventure . Ok here’s one. We were had hiked out of a canyon in AZ got to the car at dark, 60 miles of dirt road to the highway, we’re going 60, when the car misses a cow standing in the road by inches! No cell phones, no,other traffic on that “road”

If that wasn’t enough to scare pro-2A Americans . . . The Commander-in-Chief declared his support for gun confiscation without due process. With fans like that, who needs rivals? Relax said the night man, Donald Trump is programmed to please! Whatever the last person the CIC’s talking to wants to hear, that’s what the former real estate tycoon will say. And then forget it and do whatever the f*ck he wants. Or nothing at all. Without regard to what he said to anyone at any point. If so, if President Trump isn’t a man of his word, his pledge to degrade Americans’ natural, civil and Constitutionally protected right to keep and bear arms is meaningless. Except to the anti-gun rights agitators, who really, really want to think the post-Parkland hysteria has delivered unto them a Nixon to China moment. I agree with you too , but the 2A is not about hunting, and frankly I could stop hunting long before I’d give up my guns . The thing some may need to remember is hunters are a tiny tiny number of gun owners , if hunters by and large abandon the gun rights fight,well there’s an eight fold times as many gun owners who don’t give a carp about huntIng. Already many gun forums are grumbling about the Fuds. Stand united ! Im off to the bank as my NRA visa of 25 years is no longer going to exist , I guess they won’t come for guns either lol .

Thank you Al ! It’s often a numbers game . Where we gain our strength is there is something like 50k NRA members in each Senate district, we tend be single issue voters and they know that . Will that be enough now ? IDK, but if we each signed one person up that may well be a game changer . Also there are companies offering to,pay part of a membership ,just google it .

One of my problems is the antis always say we don’t compromise , yet I’ve never been offered one. Trying to take 6 things then settling for 4 is not a compromise. I get it and May struggle with that,as Dicks is about 3 minutes from my house. I used to deer hunt across 104 from it . I have so much gear needing a last minute anything is remote but possible . My Visa card of 25 years is no longer because it says NRA on it, now the closest store with hunting gear caved, streaming companies are under pressure not to run NRA tv and all gun and hunting shows may well be next . Fed Ex for now is resisting , it’s going to be hard to avoid all the companies folding to the antis , but I’m going to try . As my Local always says, “ we support those that support us .”
