Many years back a friend sold his truck and bought a Honda Civic , put a hitch on and bought a small trailer . Honestly he was a gun hunter and driving a truck year round for a couple weeks of hunting didn’t make sense to him any longer .

I’m sorry Fla. doesn’t do Italian food well . This was very bland , I’m spoiled as a guy on my crew was an excellent cook and his linguine and calm sauce was to die for . Very disappointed tonight . use some bone stock, butter and lots of garlic people .

From about $140 to $200 a night depending on the dates . It’s one of the last old small places in the area, corporation’s are buying everything up and building “ hotel houses “ that rent for $1000 a night . Geno has 8 units in the same footprint ,so he’s doing ok . Our host just told me realtors have a waiting list of buyers for these mobile home parks . Years ago my wife was here and the one nextdoor was for sale at a good price, she still laments not writing a check .

Yikes ! We’re presently in Northport the 5th largest city in fla ,at a friend’s mobile home park . 400 units with multiple other parks all over the place for idk thousands of them . Searching online there is a grand total of 8 for sale in the area, and those don’t look so good, except for a couple of really nice ones , for a quarter million …. I know the housing market is tight, didn’t expect this ,considering the age of the owners I figured more of a turn over . plan on booking the same condo in Sarasota for next year I guess , but need to do that ASAP .

Love mine , fun to shoot , but mine is more of a “social gun “, I don’t hunt with it . Red dot and back up iron sights . I’ve got about 1000 rounds ,was looking at ammo down here but it was still a buck a round for ball , did grab more proper size mags though . Enjoy .

Florida’s nice, my humidor is a table . Bought some sticks when I got here six weeks ago, didn’t smoke one as I got blood clots in my leg around the same time , they are still in good shape . Ill check with the vein Dr at home ,although I know what he’ll say .

Moved on to Northport , my wife’s friends mobile home park . She’s on her last day of restrictions from open heart surgery. When we got here she said Larry if you don’t mind could you wash my car it’s filthy. I said we stopped on the way to buy car soap . I always wash her car when we stop . I much prefer mobile home parks to condos , your own grass, covered car port , work shed just step outside . This one is on a river with boat ramp kayak rack, pool , tennis , pickle ball rec center . its off a busy road yet dead silence in here , although restaurants and stores minutes away . I may have to dig up a coffee can

Good news , winters ok here, sorry the spring break girls are out of focus .

I monitor my house and freezer in NY from here in Florida , but they run year round . No issues , but mine are like $150 each .

When it rains go shopping ! Gun shop , they had sales reps there, free food, stickers, gun oil . Told a guy we were from out of state and checking out the shop, he went and got us 6 patches . Oh and a free drawing for a Ruger PC 9 ! lots of ammo, prices same if not more then home . Picked up some mags for someone down here …..

I know a retired cop who works at Oak Hill CC a couple days a week , gets clubs for members out of a locker room or something and maybe carts ? He says he gets his steps in , plays free on Mondays . Pouring here in Fla. and tornado warnings for a bit .

Not only did I get a second and killing shot off last year, with my bolt action, I had time to dial up the scope and take my time . Lucky I guess the buck didn’t run after I missed with the first , it was 200 yards and it looked like he didn’t know where the first shot came from . I got a running coyote a few years back in the same field with my 4th shot , pure luck or was it ?

First thing when I went to,pick up our Outback from the dealer , I asked that the dealer license plate frame and dealer sticker be removed . A few days later I de- badged most of the rear , that is I took off all the lettering , Subaru, AWD all that crap . I did leave Outback , but that may go . There were 7 freaking things back there ! I like a clean look . On the rear windows of my cars are my union sticker and an American Flag , both are not visible to the driver from the inside . Outback does have side flags , black, understated .

So I walk out this morning and they’re spraying the three story behind us , but it’s 25mph winds, my car is all over spray ,along with others in our eight car lot . I walk over, no speeky English …. But one gets what’s going on , he hands me a bottle of spray cleaner ha ha . Call your boss , get the boss on the horn , oh he’ll pay, take it to a detailer um no, I’m not wasting my last beach day doing that. I go back multiple cars with over spray, I call my body shop at home he says doesn’t matter if I do it now or at home ,that’s good, and $400 at the most . So we now call our condo owner , who responds as his building has over spray to, I call the “ boss “ back and say he needs to get here ASAP as they’re multiple cars damaged , he says two hours which is soon . So here I sit , I know one thing he better bring his wallet or check book, my next call is to code enforcement and the building dept. maybe ICE .
