On to Lido Beach Sarasota ! Taking a coffee break from loading the Outback , got more stuff then we came with . When you rent a condo for a month you need to buy groceries, paper products , cleaners , and so on , and bring it all to the next place apparently . Of course Mrs Nomad had to bring pillows from home, heating pad , and a duffel bag of bathroom products, while I have one razor, a bar of Irish spring and a tooth brush, and I still look and smell better ! Then last weeks guests bought a 40 pack of water to go with the one we already had, plus beer and White Claw which they didn’t drink . When our daughter was here she bought some wine and asked us to bring it to Sarasota ,for her return trip … Well she’s got another stack at the door .

You guys are marking it hard for me ! Perhaps some shed hunting in Tenn late March ,but not home till close to April . Fortunately no,one is allowed where I do most of my shed hunting .

The one in the condo we rented for Feb STB last week, one call to the owner in Boston ,had a repair guy here the next day . The ice was melting in my Gin and Tonic at an unprecedented rate ,who can live like that ?!

Russia’s economy is almost 100% oil and mining , which these sanctions dont affect ,as I understand it . You’re right about inflation ,it’s not hitting a hard . Fewer items on the shelves ? Lol not our basement shelves,good for a few months , but we’ve been paying attention .

Seems like the U.S. is mainly concerned with pronouns, which bathroom to use , removing old statues, and making our military weaker . China and Russia has been building up their military , buying massive amounts of food , and building up finances . My main concern right now is burning my bald head here in fla. and not gaining to much fat . Agree , Russians care little about sanctions. They know how to live with little as they have for long periods of time , they paid down their debt and built up reserves in anticipation of them , as well . Now here we’d fold if steaming TV and craft breweries were shut down . Oh and China will take Taiwan soon .

Nomads prediction $5 gas by Easter . cyber attacks are a concern for me , I do what I can . Being away from home , I don’t let my gas tank get below 3/4 and I may fill up sooner , going forward . We walk to restaurants and such here so I drive very little but will need to get home at some point . I hit the bank a few days ago to increase our cash on hand .as well .

As far as most bow hunters I know ,and there were dozens and dozens on the job, and new guys joining us every year . The overwhelming don’t shoot in leagues , know next to nothing about tuning a bow, they shoot a few times anywhere from a month to a couple weeks prior to hunting . And they do well . Modern compounds are not difficult to shoot well out of the gate , hell i killed a buck my first year in ‘88 shooting fingers with a single brass pin and a flipper rest, today’s bows are miles ahead , oh and I had no mentor to teach me . My friend Paul is a lot like Lawdwaz, he’s going to kill two nice bucks every darn year . He doesn’t bow hunt till the rut and seldom shoots his bow till a week or two into October , to “ see if it’s on .” But whatever .

??? waiting for our table at some Italian restaurant, food wasn’t as good as my driver cooked at work . I had chicken Marsala which didn’t compare to his, but I’ve not found a better Marsala, chicken French or beans and greens then his ever . I have a sump pump, with a back up sump pump , even though most of my issues have subsided. Right now there’s a submersible pump, with hose near it along with an extension cord to run off my Honda generator ( outside ) if need be . I’m a back up to a back up type guy . Our daughter checked it Sunday after melt off , just a trickle going into it .she’ll be back Wed.
