Yea, this guy is for real. They found soiled diapers along with some of his supplies. You know who craps their pants on purpose?? Snipers, when they are laying motionless for hours on end. Pretty sure that's what this guy is doing. Evades the police then buries himself. You'd have to walk right over him to find him.. Read one article that said he got jumped by search dogs but evaded and disappeared again. That's a dangerous game for police. .

I had a similar story that I posted on here, walking through the woods with two buddies to put up a stand, middle of the day during bow season. Being loud, talking about where to put it. All of a sudden a real nice 9 or better buck gets up and walks in front of us at 30 yards. Then gets on the same run we are on and walks right at us. I took a video but man I wish I had brought the bow. From now on, I bring it.

I climb with my Muck boots and have no problems. Very warm, comfortable boot.

I wouldn't mind wearing my digi woodlands. Was actually going to do it this year butut I don't think the blouse is practical as I like to cover my neck from the cold when I'm out. As long as the name tapes and rank are removed have at it. Aren't those your camies in your profile picture?

Well, just wrapping up a 12 1/2 hour shift. Been dog tired all night from getting out of work and hunting yesterday morning, 5 hours of sleep and back at it. Somehow the end of the shift roles around and I'm wide awake and ready to rip! Throw a good ol' skoal apple in the lip and let her ride I guess!

Yes use it on a drag line. I spray a generous amount on the cotton piece. I also like to spray some on the bottom of my boots. Have had some good success with younger bucks following it right in, nose on the ground. I also like to use it a little early.

Did you maybe hit her a little forward? I hit one in the thin part of the shoulder last year. Very little blood because the hole wasn't opened up very well. Didn't make it further than 80 yards though. Bled out internally.

Limbs would be a helluva lot cheaper than a new bow.

DOHHH!! Well you could replace the limbs I would imagine. My uncle ran his over after a hunt two years ago. Right at the beginning of bow season and had to buy a new one that day. At least you have time to fix it if you wanted to.

I always carry a "can". Which is a bleat call. Super easy to use and they do in fact work. I have turned small bucks around and brought them in on a string. My uncle swears the reason he killed his ten point is because of his bleat can. I don't use a grunt tube often but I do carry one. Was walking out of the woods last year, came out into the field and saw a good buck crossing it down at the bottom. I knew he was headed for his big scrape on the corner. I grunted to him and he literally bounded to his tree, started pissing all over and rubbing his licking branch and stepped out into the field to look up the hill at me. Pretty insane experience.

Honestly, if you plan on hunting just gun season, you could probably hold off on some of your scouting. Sure, get in and know the area. But as for deer sign, a lot is going to change from now till the opening day of gun. And there will be more sign to look for once it gets closer to gun season, rubs, scrapes, etc.

My grandmother picks at it as she makes hamburger. I have never tried it raw.
