buck forage oats question

I planted forage oats last year. They are real easy to plant. All I did was scrap the layer of grass off the top, put down some lime and fertilizer then seeded the crap out of it lol. Grew in lush and tall. And Im no farmer! First I saw little patches mowed down. Once the frost hit it was game over. They would dig for it in the snow. Great crop. Good luck with yours! -

Predate. I can hear every slight movement. Mainly because I hang it over my ears because I don't have a beard. I don't have to hang face paint on anything. Therefore, no worries.

I have a 30 and 40. At 20 it hits maybe an inch and a half high. I hate looking at a deer through my sites and seeing a mess of pins.

Masks are a pain. Always re-adjusting and your breath gets all wet and cold on them. I went to face paint and never looked back. So much more comfortable especially when shooting a bow! And you don't have to listen to a mask brush against you every time you move.

Not to mention that pin plus shipping puts you a third of the way to a decent site. Listen to CoonHunter and get in to a pro shop bud. Good luck with it!

I personally don't like my pins all bunched up. But on the other hand, I use one pin out to 30 yards because my bow shoots flat enough. If you are lobbing arrows and have enough drop to sneak a third pin in there then go for it! Whatever makes you more accurate.

I have found that with a rage broadhead I hear a more pronounced whistling noise that I dont normally hear with a field tip.

That is an awesome story Elmo. I use to kind of "Date around". My wife wouldn't give me the time of day at first. Being in the Marines I was a HEAVY drinker. Fighting and drinking all the time. It took a little while but she changed me for he better. Lol funny how things work out

So where did you end up meeting your wife/girlfriend?? I met my wife in the USMC while we were both stationed at Twentynine Palms CA. She was a Combat Engineer and I was Crash Fire Rescue. She is originally from Texas and lived there till 12. Then turned yuppie and moved to Florida lol. Now here she is in upstate New York and lovin every minute of it! She also loves to fish and hunt.
