I cut it before hand and it pulls right out with the intestine. I may try that though just so I know what you guys are talking about. Just seems like too much work to me.

You don't need to break no pelvic bone lol. I have never heard of that or seen that before. It's actually fairly easy to gut a deer.

I love my SOG. It has a heavy duty blade and nice solid wood handle. Nice leather sheath (sp). No folding and no saw on it. That flat blade slices through whatever I need it to. You couldn't break that knife if you tried.

That Browning looks like a nifty little tool. I use SOG myself.

O man! Well, I set two trail cams out this year and left them for three weeks. When I came back they had no pictures on them. Turns out they were both broken for some reason. Just would not take a picture. Huge waste of time.

They don't mind Copenhagen straight! Spit right on the ground. Killed one with the bow at 30 yards with a big 'ol lip in.

I would like to get a bigger buck than last year. But regardless I will enjoy the hunt. I hope to shoot a doe early on so it settles the nerves. Then just enjoy my time in the woods with a nice crisp breeze on my cheeks. Love that fall/winter dry, crisp, cold air!
