And where did I call ppl stupid?... Well I called the sheriff tonight 4:50 and the lease above me is blasting away and very close....I was raking the path to one of my blinds and it scared the hell out of me....then there were the lights bobbing around their woods...gee lost the deer...well that happens when you can barely see what your shooting at...So Bubba ...I told sheriff about the poaching...he said yep going on all over...he lives not far away ...heard the shots at 1:00am....so they have the night patrols watching out ...went to the camp...I watched as he drove up ...and the lights went out...he came back...no one at camp...he left two sets of lights came on...but now they are going to try and catch them ....can't prove which hunter shot...no deer around so I told him of possible stash places they use....ya know...just freaking hunt legal...I set my phone every day to the legal opener and legal close and the phone vibrates to let me no..day done

No WNYBH...these guys have had control of the property for years ...the owner lived down in the SE part of state....never really used it....logged it off and sold it to the neighbor/caretakers...as for our place we've had those parcels for 10 years now...besides it all happened at night...I'd hunted there in the afternoon and walked by...at 5pm...the tracks weren't there then...That's how I knew there was a 10pt and an 8pt locked down with doe...it was were a bunch of ppl had stopped around 12 to watch deer...but the neighors kid said all they saw was a small 6pt...which I had seen there that afternoon as well

There was snow on the ground Bubba......by morning there was a clear ice imprint for 50ft of tire track..... where they had gone off the side of the road and were have a hard time getting back on...the shoe prints were perfect ice prints...two sets going in and two sets and a wide flat drag print coming out....just woods no house there...on the neighbors they had the same prints...but they got out at the hunting "garage" and the foot prints went around to the windows...then they drove a grass woodland trail 100yrds turned right and then backed out and left....hey I'd do my part but but gee I'm only assuming the obvious......so why call the DEC to hear where s the proof...and where did I ever say it was only in my little corner of the world?...The DEC did a big poaching round up last year north of NYC

ya know your a real AH ....poaching is a problem and I hope you never have to deal with crap like this ...but from the way you act...it would not surprise me if you have participated in such things.....You may not care for me as a poster but don't diminish the wrongful act of poaching....... guys like that hurt everybody....having ppl casing camps and driving your lands in the middle of the night is just wrong!!

One deer me last night...the neighbor just called and their new land has a garage/camp on it...the truck drove up there...rough abandoned dirt road...drove into the property walked around looking in garage windows and then drove down through their hard roads...turned around and came back out...apparently they didn't catch a deer in the lights...Not smart enough to wait for the snow to melt...dirty SOB's...At least I found out they caught the home robbers...one was from Mt Morris...the other Batavia.....home owner came home and caught them in the act

theres a gu that goes to camp every year Dads buddy..nice guy but...Damn every year button bucks ,,,sure enough called and who got a deer...button buck...then tells every one how he saw a really big buck and a 5pt?!....geezs.I know it sounds -itchy...but he doesn't even eat deer meat...he expects us to take it

Had a spike under stand and when I went in at 5:30 this morning I stepped through the pine to fields and was face to face with a doe and had another 15ft to my right...noisy walk in...they managed to stay ahead of me the entire walk in snorting to beat the band...lol.....On the way to do chores ...found the tire tracks of a truck ...2 sets of foot prints and drag path ...they nearly lost the truck in the ditch...drove a long ways off shoulder trying to get back up on road....Had a deer poached either when I went to store or as I slept last night....wonder if it was the big 10 or 8pts...dirty SOB's And you wonder why I can be such a BEOUCH!

Well I agree I miss it also...Son just left...had to work all day then was going home to pack up...and rush to camp I also after reading that DEC's the Saturday opener to draw youth fizzled... I have to say DUHH!!!! I think they just caved in to pressure ...because schools loose revenue on absentee kids....the kids ALWAYS loved being able to have a "Sick" hunting day on Monday and spending time with the "guys" that week end ...LEARNING about hunting...It was NEVER a big issue at any of the schools I went to...until the budget the budget crys started going up...personally and anti hunting tactic...freaking yuppies

We sell our hides....and the dogs get the bones and ribs and all scrape but the legs...head and fat...fat is made into bird cakes and the head and legs go to yotes

my son bought me a camel pack a few years ago....I fill it with very warm water and put it on my back..... then I put my hunting suit on over it on very cold days....makes leaning my back against a cold tree much more pleasant and when I need a drink the water valve is pinned to my collar....so I look like the hunch back...I'm not that hot looking in orange camo and 3 layers of clothes any how....lol

Now you need to get a single frame of each of their faces....blow them up with wanted for trespassing...reward for information leading to an arrest....and post them around town...pretty sure you won't have any more problems...every body will get the point

Well there's four from us rolling thru on the way to Allegheny county today...the phone calls started at 11am....will you go get this that and the other thing and leave them for the son to pick up and take down.....lol...at least it wasn't the guns...yep forgot them one year...our daughter was not happy...but she shot her first gun buck that year with a borrowed gun...big 8pt...I love being home....lol
