    My buddy caught one small perch, that was it. Going bring net and dip for minnows next trip there later in the week and give that a try. The creek has been muddy a lot from all the rain, hopefully things will clear up soon.

    Went fishing for perch yesterday with a friend of mine and caught this nice pike in the process. I only had small redworms for bait but this guy was hungry I guess. Caught it in creek at Golden Hill State Park. I got him back in the water to fight another day.

    The patio there is infested with mosquitos in the summer time. I was there few years ago, got bit up and never returned. And the canal water smelled like a sewer lingering in the air.
