I live east of Lockport and have my scanner on in the house all the time. I can say that Transit Rd. has accidents calls all the time. The Vol. Fire Dept and police agencies are kept busy with them, some serious.
The vast majority of robins do migrate south, however a few stick around-and move around-in northern locations. Robins migrate more in response to food than to temperature. Fruit is the robin's winter food source.
I have couple out at my sisters, don't know when I bwill get to them. I have couple on friends property for security purpose, always get critters walking thru.
