Few days ago I noticed a doe in the uncut alfalfa field that is alongside the dirt road that goes up my friends lot on lake ontario just inside Orleans County. She was just standing there watching me as I drove by, and seemed to go in circles and was carrying fawn it was quite obvious. So I had 2 cams set along the trees by the road to see if she would be dropping any fawns. I checked cams today and it looks like one joined the family. Pics aren't great but the fawn is there.

I had ice cream and cake back at house that my niece brought over, but I want to try the Lake Effect sometime. They were featured on Ch. 4 news week or so ago and was voted Buffalo areas best ice cream. Some interesting flavors too!

Thanks guys, I greatly appreciate it! My sister bought me lunch at Reid's in Lockport today, I had a taste for a nice cheeseburger, a hot dog and large fry with vinegar and ketchup and a large pop. They took care of business for me and I left very satisfied and full!

My friend sent me pic of this fish he caught at Braddocks Bay earlier today. I don't recall ever seeing a fish like that with the red fins on bottom. Any body know what it might be?

I am just hearing call on my scanner of motorcycle accident on Rt. 31 and Freeman Rd. in Niagara County and they are calling for 2 Mercy Flights to respond to the scene. I can hear all the sirens from my apartment window. It is that time of year when drivers of both cars and motorcycles need to be alert of each other. Be safe out there!

I have 2 detectors that perform quite well, a Whites Coinmaster GT and Teknetics Patriot. They are both digital, not like the old Whites you tossed which were analog. It is great hobby, especially when the lull between hunting seasons. Give it a go again, you will be happy you did!
