I thought Erie county gives mostly restricted permits and then you have to go before a judge to have the restrictions removed .

This was my grandfather's 38 colt when he rode with the niagara county mounted division. I guess it would have been back in the early 60s . He gave the gun to my dad around the same time he graduated high school.

New turbo technology is amazing , the engines are built to handle a ton of power ,a tune just increases boost essentially . You start adding exhaust and injectors you can make ridiculous power . That truck can launch like an AWD with the drivetrain you have and then only use RWD once you get off the line.

To put in to perspective how much has changed in drivetrain technology , with just a tune and nothing else ,that ranger would smoke the corvette you had.

Mine won't fall out either ,it makes the top half want to come off the tree sideways if you take any weight off the front .

You haven't panicked until the lower half drops to the ground and leaves you stranded on the top half , my bow was tied to the top half and i hang dropped from the top but had to swing out so i didnt land on the bottom portion . Luckily i was in my early 20s and my bones were still flexible ,i actually kneed myself in the face when i hit the ground . Then i spent 20 minutes throwing a piece of wood in the air to knock the top portion down to the ground . Don't recall seeing any deer that day LOL.

I cant climb with my bow in the holder ,it loads the side of the top piece too much on one side . I need to build a holder off the front just for climbing i think.

Input needed on broadheads

A 600g arrow is a tank ,that's like a water buffalo arrow. I'm not at all telling you what arrow to shoot but just a comparison, my 60 pound bow shoots a 405g (total weight) Easton hexx with 50g of brass up front and a 100g broadhead. What ever total weight you decide on ,try and keep your FOC around 10 - 13ish. Sounds like are you already aware that increasing the weight on the front will make the arrow react like a weaker spine . -

I feel like it was 500 feet ,i'm not positive though . I know some stands were way farther away then that. I remember him getting to his stand and saying good luck and i'd still have to walk to the top of the hill . Sometimes id be so scared when i would hear stuff take off running and i remember being more scared to go back and tell him i was scared LOL.

Props for getting him in his own stand , my dad and I never hunted the same spot ,even when I was a junior archer ,I was starting to wonder if NYS changed the laws.

If a compound shoots a broadhead different then a field point ,your tune is most likely off . Is there room for adjustments on crossguns?

I never thought the unit for drying would make much of a difference but it really does help to have a nice dedicated drying machine.

Not sure what method you are using for drying but mine goes into an excaliber dehydrator on max temp which is 165 for exactly 4 hours if that helps any.

Probably one of the tests that the independent laboratories skip on when testing gear. -
I use ground for mine and everyone always comes back for seconds ,i use the cabellas peppered stuff with jerky gun.

I want a RC harness that has weight bearing attach points on the hips ,i don't think they exist.
