  1. Well that is certainly a neat deal! Any idea how long it has been in mothballs? Any ammo or other trinkets discovered?
  2. Depends what you're willing to spend, I think I have 100 loaded Stingers on hand..........for the right price I'd empty them.

    Lake Alice

Any of you guys been to Lake Alice? I have about 27 years of history on the lake since my FIL has a small place there, mostly summer time swimming/boating/water sports. Sure, I've fished it a fair amount in the summer for bass and whatnot. Never kept a fish... Today I went up looking for crappie. I've known that there can be a good crappie bite in the spring but have never done it until today. I launched at the public site and that was a rodeo.........sorry but I'd be banned if I put it in writing. Don't ask. So there wasn't a SINGLE other boat on the water, from the dam to the far side of the Kenyonville bridge. Not a one! There was a chilly NE breeze that swapped out to west around noon and the sun was bright. All I had to show for my effort was one 12" crappie and 8 bluegill, they'll be guests at dinner tomorrow.
  4. Damn you and your common sense.........
  5. The rst of you guys better look quick before it's sold....................

  7. How many "multiple 1000 acre chunks" under a single ownership group or individual do you think exist east of route 81? I can't believe there are too many, I know of one.......
  8. Great buck! Just curious, was he aged?
  9. Heck PA used to be 11am. I remember being pretty disappointing walking away from a hot bird at quitting time............more than once.
  10. Thank you for the confidence. And you'd be the lawyer I'd hire to bail me out when my first administrative scandal broke out.........
  11. That's neat! Like Skillet's recent score, cool when you get what you want after some searching. Consider trying some of the Parker Ballistic Extreme 275 grain bullets, they've been tremendous out of mine and my buddies NULA smokeless guns, pushed by SR 4759. Either way, keep us posted on progress.
  12. When I was a kid we had a reel type mower. And a healthy black lab. I hated shoveling dog turds up so learned to mow with one had on the mower and walked off to the side. Nice...........
  13. 60 days on a used electronic items is too long to go IMO. I think the guy is SOL.................. That said, it is a tough call. Good luck.............
  14. WOW, WOW & WOW!!!! 105 years old? WOW!!!!!!! Happy Birthday Uncle Sal.....
  15. Ha! I've broke bread with you already.........well, scrambled eggs anyway.
  16. I got to handle this gun at Skillet's camp, I was impressed with the gun.
  17. Look at the smile on my face.........................
  18. Ya.......and the cougar had a crossbow bolt hanging out of it. Dang, what a story!!
  19. It's kind of a long story on how we ended up in Naples today but we did. As we were heading back to Canadice late this morning I thought I'd take my wife the scenic route up around Harriet Hollister Spencer State Park back into Canadice to pick up the boat. As we were going up the road to my uncle's old camp I was saying to my wife that one of my inna' net buds lives right up here............she says "oh yea, sure, another imaginary friend!!" So up we go and I get to this camp and I see a guy sitting on the porch, chillin'. Now I've only seen a couple of pics of Skillet here on the web and I wasn't really sure if this was him or not or if he was even there so I roll down the passenger side window and holler...."hey, is Skillet around?" The chillin' guy says "who?" I yell back, Skillet! 3 seconds later this young buck steps out and yells back, "Larry?" He hollers to pull in so we obliged........ We exchanged introductions and it turned out the fellow on the deck was Skillet's buddy Paul, also a member here! We had a nice 30 minute chat and they showed my wife and I the camp. KILLER place! Right in the heart of great deer, turkey, squirrel hunting and some fine trout fishing. I asked if would be OK to have my wife snap a pic and they agreed. From left to right......Skillet, Lawdwaz and (IIRC) O'Brian33 We had a great visit and hopefully we can do it again, maybe a squirrel hunt this September!
  20. I see Hilary if I squint.................
  21. I brought the boat home this afternoon from my buddies in Canadice and there is no room in the driveway. I HAD to mow a spot on the lawn to put the boat. That's all I cut but did pull a pile of weeds from the beds....... I didn't do it but it IS gin & Tonic season now.
  22. I stopped at the customers house yesterday and showed these pics to the lady; she LOVED them!!
  23. Other than Opening Day, light done right.
  24. I had a 19 many moons ago, like the first or second year they offered them. Kept it for 4-5 years then it was sold for another passing fancy...............bought a Model 27 and never really warmed up to it. Then, a number of years ago I got the S&W Shield. I like it a ton but would be just as happy with another 19.
