It was a fluke. I know a bunch of the guys there, in addition to the owners. Years ago the place was brutal, since they remodeled/expanded probably 16-18 years ago things have gotten better. (trust me) I stopped in last week and Paul (in the handgun area) kept tossing semi autos at me, saying "Larry, have you seen this? Or that?" I said "no Paul, break 'em out". He ALMOST sucked me in a on a CZ 75 Compact.........then he pulled a Dan Wesson Guardian out. Oh my, what a work of art, $1500 for one hell of a gun! I didn't take the bait, this time.

I like them! Put plates on that buggy and drive it year round.

$12 a head to get in is tough to swallow. Hopefully it comes with a burger & a shake.......................

Call for desperate measures!! Bored out of my gourd due to this weather do I decided to go to my buddies in Arcade late this morning and do some fishing and visiting. I thought I'd stream fish but figured just for giggles I'd hit the big pond, it has all kinds of pan fish in it. Ice was on the edges in some spots but I had enough open water to toss some jigs tipped with red worms. A few fish were caught before I numbed up from the cold.

Two birthdays today, good guys to boot! Wildcats160 and First-light are hopefully going to enjoy a fine Sunday Birthday with family & friends!

Some rough times back in those years for sure. The old cemetery at the north end of Canadice Lake has some stories to tell also. I've spent some time reading the headstones there and my son got quite an education in life/death too one year while spring turkey hunting. The birds weren't talking but the headstones were..................................

A friend and fellow dove hunter will be back in town in couple week, he should be good for a donation. I'm not good at asking for help on anything, especially financially related subjects but I'll mention it to a few other friends and see if I can get some more support.
