Finally pulled the trigger on a "pocket" gun

Neat enough......................... I'm way behind in trail cam maintenance, I bet the batteries have croaked in a couple of mine. Hopefully the bobcats, bear and hornless bucks have all been very photogenic the past 6 weeks.

Videos Pheasant Hunting Compared to Grouse
Lawdwaz replied to mike rossi's topic in Small Game and Predator Hunting
Neat video clips. Those birds are all fast and would be quite a challenge for any "dyed in the wool" wingshooter! As I get a little older, a bucket hunt for doves is getting more & more appealing.- 5 replies

Nice piece there Al. Is the 'chuck hunting still pretty good in your area?

Where is the word "fatal" in the quoted statement? "there is no known safe exposure level." It's "not" safe to speed or run red lights either. You don't necessarily die if you do those things, do you?
-
OK, lets go with this.......... "there is no known safe exposure level."

Keep reading..........."and have harmful health effects even at lower levels, and there is no known safe exposure level."

Shawnhu....I certainly know of it but don't know much about it. Please explain how it is used and what you're hoping to get out of it.

Good score..........so, you're getting pretty deep into reloading huh? Good times...if ONLY I could shoot in my own backyard

That place looks as clean as my father's house. If I have to take my shoes off to get a beer...............I will

Bizzy that furniture looks like something RIGHT out of the Roy E. Weatherby Shiny Magnum Gun catalog. If the shoe fits...........................

Sounds like you guys are having fun! Talking about snow geese.........I had a flock fly over me in the Buffalo area on Friday. That's always neat.

The connection with Dan (Dinsdale) was made Friday night and I got the PFD he offered up along with a HUGE bonus of maple syrup. The fat get fatter.............................

Me, share a picture? Yes but it'd be classified as an "after" picture. I yanked all the tile then scraped up 95% of the thinset mortar. Swept and vacuumed the remainder. The white dashes on the floor denote locations of known screws in case the Durarok cement board has to come up. After pulling and scraping I noticed that the areas of screw heads was still "wet". I figured that IF the board had to come up, at least I had most of the screw heads located. That's the best thing that came out of this fiasco. Live & learn...................... .

Do NOT feel guilty. It's just one of those things.......... Life goes on............. I hope you had a good visit with your family and it was great seeing you Friday night.

Ok, true confessions. Today A buddy who is very handy came by to help me lay out my tile floor in a small (55"x48") half bath. After getting things to what we thought were square we got down to it....... What SEEMED like a good start for some reason looks like trouble now that it's in place. We both did some cutting and placing and It looks to me now like it may have to come out. Towards the end it seemed to be getting wonky and now looks FUBAR. I'll make the heartbreaking decision tomorrow.......I think the grout is on hold. Any of your own DIY nightmares you want to fess up? Remember, misery likes company and I'm in a miserable mood.

Ahh, ok. I've never watched more than 3 minutes (truth) of any "reality" tv show, ever. This appears to be one of the few good decisions I've made in my life.

PERFECT!!

I'll hoist a Crown on the rocks right now in Ted's memory............. Happy Hunting Ted, RIP.

Maytom......the guy you met is Dinsdale, also know as Dan. My wife and I got there late and also met up with him. I wanted to meet the PH he will using this spring for his African hunt. Seems like a heck of a nice guy, I'm sure Dan will have a great hunt. I'm pretty sure the both you visited was not affiliated with this forum, IIRC it is HuntingWNY.com or similar.
