One of my buddies told me years ago that white wasn’t a color. Lol Im on my 2nd white vehicle. My wife has a white Highlander and son has a white Vibe. Racist, absolutely not.

Like a back up camera, all those safety features are really appreciated after a few months of use. I have a bunch of it on my ‘20 Tacoma and hope to have them and more on future vehicles. (Like the keyless fob, I hope I never have keys again!!)

Not sure but when this heavily laden with water snow freezes tonight it will be especially tough on deer and turkey. This is when your neighborhood shrubs get destroyed by the deer.

I just drove by his house and all the lights are off...........yikes.

It was interesting to see during the Bills/Patriots game Saturday night how you could see the player’s breath after a play. It really makes it clearer to understand how far droplets can travel. The wind direction was very evident to down on the field.

A couple times I took a bunch of goose breasts to Bonds Meats in West Valley and they turned them into excellent summer sausage. The best thing to happen to geese......... The one year I ended up with something like ten 24" links about 4" in diameter. They made great Christmas presents.

I said that in jest to the numbnuts comments from our short timed visitor. My "word smith" skills are limited at best.

So I was thinking of a new thread to take the attention off the crazy covid thread and thought about my slug gun gathering dust all these years. It's been (IIRC) about 17-18 years since I carried the old 12ga Ithaca DSII. I quit as I enjoyed carrying the T/C Encore ML'r and killed a few deer with it the first year. For a number of years I continued to use it then bought the smokeless ML'r and used that until they allowed the use of CF rifles in 2014. Since then the ML'r is only used during regular season when I hunt Erie County and of course during the late ML'r season and the NEW Holiday Hunt. So back on track, for those in the western zones that are now hunting rifle country, do you still have your slug gun or did you send it packing? Do you occasionally use it for nostalgic reasons or could you (like me!) give a flying flip if you ever use it again? Bonus points for pre-rifle slug gun deer pics......

Glad to here things went well today. We’ll keep you both in our thoughts.
