  1. I'd be afraid of retaliation if I slapped that on my truck. Why instigate an issue?
  2. Ha! I use the white vinegar and I've tried slide (dumped) them into the water........Maybe I need to slide them in slower? That rubber thing Pygmy referenced has me perplexed? That stick on Xmas tree also looks like a winner. I wonder if they have stick on deer mounts too?
  3. Great, kill a deer and butcher the rest of the day. Record warmth? damn the luck. I'll probably pull the hide and put a couple bags of ice in the chest cavity. Then it's Miller Time........ Sounds like some rain mixed in also for the weekend. Doesn't look like any snow even for the late ML/archery either. Crazy season................
  4. They never come out looking even CLOSE to how the local diner does it. Maybe it's the technique on how they drop them into the water?
  5. Thanks for the encouraging words, humor and ideas. Next troublesome question for the masses: How The Frig Do You Make Perfect Poached Eggs? (I'm serious on this one)
  6. We had real trees for a number of years and have been using an artificial now for probably 12-14 years. You know, the kind you put together, hang lights & ornaments then plug in. My question is; at what point is it OK to get one of those fold-up. pre-lit and non-removable installed ornaments? Are the determining factors: Age, Dexterity or Scrooge-ism levels? Thanks in advance for the favor of a reply.
  7. Do you think they'll return to their "home" range after breeding season? IF they survived the past few weeks?

Amazing critters............................I have so much respect for them!
  9. Can't prevent it, it just helps to level the playing field a bit.
  10. Does it appear that the rifle use has been safer? I think so......
  11. I've had mine in Erie County since 1983. When first issued it was "target and hunting". When I bought my business in 1985, the words "and business protection" were added. I never worried too much about the fine line between working and not working for carrying because in my mind I was always working. When I was preparing to sell my business in the summer of 2014 I filled out the paper work to change mine to "unrestricted". After so many years of being an upstanding member of the community (!!) how could they deny me? They didn't..........it was granted.
  12. Dan's buck here, mine and two others that I know of were all killed Friday and Saturday. They're on the move!!
  13. This guy had his nose well up into the butt of a doe a couple days ago. Now he is in my shed..................... Of COURSE it is worth going hunting!!
  14. I wonder what the official numbers are on the 2014 buck?
  15. Sad deal if those are the facts. Condolences to his family & friends.
  16. I'm sure many never doubted Noel or Kirt for many years.....
  17. Because unfortunately it is common these days. Ever hear of a fellow named Noel Feather? How about Kirt Darner? Google is your friend if your not old enough to remember that.
  18. Testicles not for food but as mistletoe. Merry Christmas to you!
  19. I have killed many within 100 yards of a road.
  20. Probably not killed by the 'yotes, wounded by a hunter or hit by a car then utilized by the Wiley Coyote. Ya just never know.........................
