Back in the 80's and early 90's I hunted a fair amount in PA during their late flintlock season. I did hunt NYS also but not as much. I've threatened to take it out again here in New York but I enjoy hunting with my smokeless ML'r too much. Some day when I'm retired I guess........ My gun is a 50cal T/C Flintlock. I bought it from an Erie County Sheriff back in 1985 for $200 with all kinds of accessories. I killed a few doe with it, patched round ball and real black powder.

Not sure where you live but people are paying big taxes for schools, parks, libraries, local police, roads, refuse etc. (off the top of my balding head four libraries in the Town of Amherst and our police department is outstanding)

Hook & Gaff would be cool names for a couple new cats if/when it's appropriate. I never heard of that watch but don't doubt its decent. The collection of knives making the trip is certainly worthy of a road trip. And a Leatherman is always close by for my too. I never seem to have enough zip ties but do seem to have electrical tape handy for some reason. Sorry to hear about the pets; turn the page.

Why do you say this if you are constantly dogging him? You absolutely do care or you'd drive right by.......it's almost like wolc is "living rent free in your head".
