  1. I'm baffled........what about 24 hour vending machines? That would be pretty cool too (I'm still talking worms of all types rather than stamps, FYI)
  2. I didn't mean to sound like too much of a douche.......sorry if I ruffled your feathers.
  3. You owe it to the deer to NOT go out with a cobbed up bow/arrow combination that you sure as hell haven't practiced at all with and go out hunting tomorrow morning. Gimme a break.........
  4. 2am is nutzzzz! That would wipe me out for two days lately! Back in 1991 I had a great spot in PA that had a few adult gobblers gave me a slip the first day of the season. I went back twice and didn't drive down the night before, choosing to get on the road by 2am. It was a 2.5+ hour ride and being only 30 years old could still manage it. Today? No way is that happening....... PS.......I killed a dandy the second early morning trip down!
  5. I'll be dipped..............thought the only place to get them was the PO?? Next thing you know Walmart will be selling live bait.
  6. I always wanted to lower a 30' piece of tubing with a BIG funnel attached from my stand and bury the end in the ground. Seems like a similar deal??? But different purpose.
  7. When I saw this thread I was glad to see I wasn't the only whack job that kept too much crap............ When I moved into my current home in late '91 I started to hang onto most but not all spring gobbler tags I filled. Some birds were cleaned at camp and tags probably tossed but if I killed a bird that was dressed at home I saved the leg carcass tag and put it on a hunk of wire and it hung by my work bench. 27 tags, most all are from NY but a few from PA too (no fall birds, I've only killed one here in NY)........... As far as deer, it appears I started to keep them around 2004 or so and once again, they ain't all there. I counted 31 that were hanging in the shed............. I do have some of my old back tags, dating back to my first year of hunting 1975. Good memories!
  8. 'Nother thing.......I'd call first depending on your locale. That could save time, fuel and frustration!
  9. You can buy all you want IF you can find them. Some PO don't have many or any.
  10. Have a good day old timer...........!!
  11. I worked today, you hunted......... You had a good day! Get 'em next time.........
  12. Don't be so scarce around here! Any action bow hunting yet?
  13. Vector Grunt Calls Vince, Hello! I bought a couple of your calls a couple weeks ago. I think they will be a GREAT addition to my bag of tricks and look forward to using them. How long have you been building them? What other calls do you make? Larry
  14. It may have been more of some kind of excavation hole from seeing the background terrain?? I agree though, that AIN'T a sink hole as what we see on the news..............
  15. Wow.......I know a guy who's license and back tag do not even have his name on it, just an address. Nice going Andy.

  20. They sound better to me than any I own...........(and a couple were tossed over the years because they REALLY sounded like junk) but here are the current crop...................................... Meet me for coffee some rainy morning and we can blow a few.......
  21. I just snapped a pic of one that I shot 25? years ago that hangs in the basement. I had Bernie Seitz do it and originally it was on a plaque but I pulled it off, thought it looked better without it. If you'd like, I can take a better side view tomorrow. I have plenty of other European mounts but all the rest have nothing cut off except the lower jaw.
  22. Looking good Bizzy...............You do know who the real winner is here don't you? Your taxidermist.
  23. Nice........35 years is awesome. Congrats.
