You other guys that are chiming in saying it is worth $400 and up have to remember that in a barter deal like this it has to benefit the contractor more than the customer because the contractor would be better off with the money and not dicking around trying to get even money for the gun. It HAS to be a deal or its no deal. Get it?

Great buck! What do you mean "north and south property"? -
The longbow isn't supposed to be shot like a compound ie: held back when drawn. It is to be shot instinctively, Draw and shoot in one motion, maybe pause for a second when you hit your anchor point. No sights, no release etc.

When I shot a recurve and a longbow I used at one time or another a Selway hip quiver, Delta 8 arrow bow quiver and a GreatNorthern bow quiver. All were excellent and completely different!!

A million times? Slick Trick for me. Oh sorry, I forgot to say why: cause it works so good in flight and on contact IMO.

Congrats to the young man!! OK, time to come clean. I took this 2 legged deer about 5 years ago IIRC. She was a beauty of a doe, real nice mature old doe. I didn't think she'd make it through the winter. Kind of like a mercy killing?

Those are very cool spit brow tines! I'd have to check but I'm pretty sure I've never killed a buck with split brows like THAT. Cork 'em!

I had a couple black squirrels hanging around me in two different stands recently. You don't see many so its always neat when you do. I always wanted to bag one but that urge has wained. Shooting with the camera is sufficient these days.........................
