Last night in southern Livingston County, at 4;00 you would have thought it was WAY past legal shooting time. It was sooo dark due to the storm clouds bringing in heavy bursts of snow and nasty winds that I thought the world was coming to an end. Probably similar conditions for the OP..........

15 deg and 15 mph WNW wind will make things a bit sporty this morning. I have a duffle bag full of goodies so I know I can dress for it but I don't know if I'll be able to shoulder the gun when the time comes!

If you are buying new, shoot both manufactures bows that you're interested in. Shoot them again a few days later then make a decision. IMO, it isn't about speed at all.................

HA!! I used to. I quit this past January (well, I cheat and have had about a dozen since then) but smoked them for 36 years. You couldn't count the deer I killed during or AFTER having a good smoke. Seconds after this "selfie" I killed a PA doe......

I stopped into Johnson's Country Store, located in Lockport late this afternoon. I was checking on a couple things and am always interested in their Big Buck Contests. The archery contest had TWO entries............both bucks. The gun contest that just started on Saturday of course, has me floored. FLOORED............. One entry. Yup, one entry. A 132lb DOE. WTH? I kid you not. I am stunned.........................Not a single buck!!
