The guys that were the "sharpshooter" here in Amherst were the cream of the crop in the PD. If there WAS a errant shot, who's insurance would you rather rely on, a gov insured employee or some yahoo that got hired for the "sharpshooter" job off the street?

If you had three weeks a year to get laid you'd probably act the same.

If you knew of a guy with multiple dogs or a good trapper they could make hay PDQ on them. You'll be lucky to get one on your own.................

Do you think the Insurance Companies hire lobbyists to persuade the DEC? Naww......... Do you think the DEC looks at the numbers that the Insurance Industry provides regarding the amount of money they spend on deer/car/motorcycle/bus/tractor trailer/bicycle etc? Naww......... THEN, take into account the amount of deer/car/motorcycle/bus/tractor trailer/bicycle etc. collisions that go unreported. You think the DEC (and they are VERY good at estimating) doesn't take that into account? Naww..... So many factors that must go into deer management that it's mind boggling............Bait & shoot can get it done efficiently and relatively safely.

And regardless WTH they are called I'll never convince my wife they ain't ticks!!!!
