Work your way in from the east side of the woods only as far as you have to if you think they are snoozing close to the house/road/field. They could wander over............................. What would Tom do? grins.....

Why would you sit out a morning hunt if you had the time?

I'm not positive but I guess you're looking for a release? An "archery caliper" might throw prospective sellers off. Any special kind? I do know that when I got my first release years ago I tried a few different ones before settling on the Tru Ball release. I ended up getting a second one just so I had a back up in case of a brainfart................... Good luck.

I've sent a few of their scopes back for service and had nothing but stellar service. One older 2.5-8 pistol scope was replaced with a brand new model, all repaired scopes were flawlessly repaired or upgraded.

Pretty easy ride for you. I wonder if it is run by the guy that runs Denton Hill? Looks like there could be a connection....................... We used to hit Denton Hill Traditional 20 years ago. Good times!

Invite MUST have got lost in the mail I'm thinking............................................. So instead I was preparing to fish with Pygmy on the Mighty Keuka Lake! Sharpening hooks, res-pooling spools, greasing guides & ball bearings. (not really) All I had to do was bring a rod & reel, some sammy's he didn't like and a few beers. Then show up on time.........grins -

CC's hands were full, he was holding their beer. -
Left Handed Sako AV 25-06 Hunter. This came to me last year in the original box, unfired! I shot it 50 times but never hunted it. I don't have the heart to do it...... As I mentioned, it will come in it's original box, encased in a homemade cardboard box. (soft case and bore guide not included) $995 plus actual shipping and insurance.

Leica CRF 800 is what I use. Others cheaper maybe as good?? I heard Leupold has some great ones also. I like the small size of my CRF 800 and I only replace the battery every couple years. -
Closest kill on a white tail? 3 yards from the base of the tree. In Colorado one year I had a bull elk 3' (three feet) from the tip of my arrow. I was hunting with traditional gear and drawing as he was coming straight in wasn't in the equation. I thought he would swing wide to get my wind but he had other ideas. He exploded when he saw a 235lb hunk of ...........staring at him, trying to hide behind a little pinion pine. Twas a religious experience............

Ahhhhh, the much maligned 243. Think it has what it takes to flatten that 'hog? grins......... I think the world of the little 243. I'll be carrying one on opening day this year. Not my usual Remington 243 but a NULA 243 LH that I stumbled on. Two guns get sold to keep the books balanced for the new acquisition. The old 243 is getting new life as a 260 Remington with a new SS Rock Creek barrel. Pics of the ventilated clover eater....................................

A guy I met on the Hog Hunt from this past spring.
