The guy hasn't even been ticketed to our knowledge yet, nor interviewed, nor apporached by a DEC officer. Yet another assumption that if a DEC officer investigates, that there will be a ticket to see a judge? Giving a hunter a bad name before knowing 100 percent fo the facts is pretty lame imo. I think the mods should lock this thread and contact him to let him know of this situation. If the details pan out that's he's guilty of something, then he should be reported. Mods should be objective when making determinations and locking this thread and closing this conversation until the facts are made clear is the justly thing to do. Letting this flame job (it is untill proven otherwise) go on one-sided is not the best idea for this site. Good idea Phade. I hope the guy is clean and has a simple explanation for this.

The OP hasn't been around since 7/17/2011. That seems odd? I'd not be surprised if the Encon folks aren't reading some of his previous posts here. Could be some more information buried amongst them. Maybe PA. will give him a NR license??

Video is nice but the sound of those hoof beats sneaking in really is cool!

Ahhh, I should have known. Why didn't you mention earlier that you are perfect? Silly me. Have a great night.

Not necessarily. I've found that a bullet that disintegrates inside the chest cavity gives drop dead results. A bullet that disintegrates in the chest cavity is most certainly going do do the same on a shoulder blade or other similar body parts and quite possibly not be a lethal wound. I'll go with two holes.

Two holes are better than one.

Looks good! Nothing like getting some new gear to get you excited for the upcoming season. What arrow & broadhead combo are you flingin'?

Yes, Melvin is still at the helm. Actually, I have a brand new one in hand that I'm going to do some load work for in the next couple weeks. It belongs to a friend who isn't into the load work like I am! Mine is a left handed and my buddies is RH. I think very highly of his center fire guns also. Melvin is a peach of a guy. If you ever call him, and I highly recommend you do, block off about 45 minutes for the call because he'll talk your ear off and load you up with tons of great info. When he gets bored with it Larry make sure to drop me a line. Good to see some lovin' for the NULA here, and you thought it weren't tradional enough to post Same old same old here.....Rem 700 with some 385 Great Plains hp's....all season including shotgun local. That "ol 700 will get it done just fine! I got a chance to shoot my buddies today. Started with 43gr of powder and worked up to 43.5 and settled it at 44gr. Groups were good but I'd need to spend a bit more time in cooler temps to get it where I'D like it It was shooting right at 1 1/4" or so. He'll be satisfied and I've fulfilled an obligation. ;) Shot my 243 Remington 700 LH again while letting the barrel cool on the ML. More pleasure with the 90gr Lapua Scenars..................!! Boy do I enjoy punching paper, dirt, steel & flesh!

That's what I stuff mine with, SR 4759. Works like a charm. Hopefully it works as good in my friends........

McMillan won't be cheap but the quality, ergonomics, finish and strength are second to none. I have two of the Edge construction stocks on LH Remington 700 action guns and they are terrific.

R&R with a McMillan stock, you'll dig it.

Mine came today. I can sleep tonight............................. ;D

Visited with some friends this morning in Hemlock. They had 2" last night and a boat load more after lunch today. How's that drought thing doing NOW!! ;D

About 9:15 or so tonight we were heading south off of Rt 104, north of Medina and we could see a heck of a storm to the south east. Looked like somebody got blasted!
