    Bristol's a great area and yes some parts are steep but majority is great hunting and good deer numbers. I know some on here live out that way.

    I have 7 does and yearlings here and not a hard horned buck anywhere.

    Just saw a 7pt walking the ridge behind me. So far so good.

    Just had a 8pt come thru the plot, gave him a few grunts and bleats, could have gave 2 sh*ts, completely ignored them and walked towards a bedding area.

    Late start but I'm in. Passed 2 fresh scrapes on walk in and I'm excited it kinda feels warm compared to the last couple days.

    I just bailed on my hunt, pretty lame for Nov 8th

    I've seen a doe and a yearling, kinda disappointing for Nov 8th. Since Wednesday I've seen one buck chasing a doe. Frustrating rut again for me.

    Sat in the snow from 1 to 4:30, busted 4 doe by stand, saw 2 small bucks and a button buck, on the walk out I saw a good amount of tracks and a buck freshened up a scrape. Not sure where in going in the am but hopefully I can find a hot doe, I'm starting to think I don't know what I'm doing?

    Where to go?? I sometimes have the hardest time picking a spot, I'm torn between food plot tucked around bedding or a ridge / oak stand also near bedding.

    I finally convinced him to come in, I passed on a shot, nice 8pt but just a hair small for what I'm looking for. Fun non the less

    He is literally right in this brush. It's so thick u can't see them until they pop out.

    I have an 8pt chasing a doe around me. She has come thru in range but he's been a little far, darn thing has snort wheezed 3 time now.

    One buck so far, hopefully it keeps getting better!! I have to drive my son to school at 7:15 then get bay out.

    I gut shot my doe this yr and found her after three hrs and she was already getting stiff, I had a 2 blade expandable bh.

    It's official I'm changing my name here, seems like when the bucks zig I zag and vice versa. I'm tired of it!! Cloths are in the wash again and I'm trying to get the funk off me. I'm off the 6 days and have a crossbow for most of those hunts. I'll be spending more time behind the house than down at the land, at least that's the plan. Action has been almost non existent the last couple hunts so hopefully I can find a hot doe!

    It really heats up back here about now. We're in with 4 doe aka live decoys, let's go bucks!! He's not a bull shitter either, he may have exaggerated a bit but was very descriptive
