  1. Well and took a serious look at the diamond but in the end decided to stick with the Hoyt tradition. He should be super excited Xmas morning!!
  2. Exactly, besides turning the ball over less he hasn't in my opinion progressed at anything else now in yr 2. You can I guess try a build a better line for him but the one he has now is pretty solid. To me it all comes down to accuracy issues you really can't fix at this point. He missed alot of passes last night and all season. Teams don't worry about his down field passing game as they rarely connect on them. He doesn't even have a 300yrd passing game yet, anybody ever think why? It's hard not to throw a 300 yrd game these days. He over throws deep ball by like 10yrs. By all means I'm a bills fan and want to see them do well and will happily eat my words but I don't think I will.
  3. Sorry Larry, he's not that good, his arm mechanics are pretty good but his foot work is absolutely terrible. They have to let him run, he's never gonna be an efficient pocket passer. Go bills
  4. By all means I'm a bills fan. Yes he's got the strongest arm but my 11 yr old can throw more accurate passes 20yrs plus. Allen can't hit water throwing out of a boat over 20yrds. Anyways go bills!!
  5. Ha crappy, thanks for the camel reference, so years and years ago when I was much younger my brother and I were sitting around the table with my grandfather (passed away now) and he thru them words at a telemarketer, I had never heard anything like it... Laughed and laughed at that one, thanks for bringing back memories!!
  6. Omg, Allen is probably the least accurate of any qb to play in the NFL EVER, just let the kid run free, he will never beat teams with his arm but has a chance with his legs.
  7. As we speak it's Evan Williams egg nog!!
  8. Awesome job Bob, My eyes teared up reading it!! You guys should be proud!!
  9. Nice to see everyones trees!! Makes me feel like I know ya all a little better!
  10. I only got out for one sit in the last 2 weeks. I ended up taking an 8pt and 2 doe so I'm pretty happy with that! I did get permission from my neighbor to hunt his small field 2 doors down from my house. Its a spot that will give me some chances at some really nice bucks. Being a tight space with boundary's I'll set it up for crossbow hunts during the rut and will be an absolutely awesome buck spot!! Now it's on to habitat work as much as possible for the next couple months and hopefully make hunting even better next yr. Congrats to everyone who punched a tag. It's always fun following along with everyone as they hunt!
  11. Finally a meaningful game since 99!
  12. Big stop, go bills!! An earned playoff trip!!!!!
  13. Yeah when I went it was anticlimactic. Same store really and they were trying to sell the field and stream branded items for a whopping 10% off, big deal. Just like most stores rarely do they have anything in my size, especially ua.
  14. My wife and I had seriously conversations around purchasing this property but in the end decided it was one bathroom short of our needs.
  15. Planting beech? I wish I could get rid of the 1000's of beech saplings we currently have growing in a few areas of our property. I'm not a big fan of beech.
  16. Ok I've looked and looked for mainly Chinese chestnut prices and there can be a wide price and size range. I found one place that has bearing size trees 7-8ft for $139.00. I think the best overall prices I've found thus far was $4.64 per tree (25min) 3-4ft trees. So deff very affordable. The bearing size is intriguing for a couple reasons. 1) I really want to enhance the edges of the new food plot and some of these trees would really do just that. 2) My dad's not getting any younger and probably won't be hunting 10 yrs from now and he likes to sit near the new plot. I'd like nothing more than for him to get one really nice buck on his land before he hangs it up. I think he'd really enjoy that. So bearing size has value for my situation I believe!
  17. Well hell sounds like we're gonna be neighbors!! If ya need help moving big items in let me know!
  18. So does anyone have a trailer for him??
  19. Chestnut Hill is an option or Chestnut ridge of pike co you can get for seeding and some for eating. I've never had them and may order to try.

    My Buck

I'm always impressed with nice bucks in our area Larry. Our spot as you know there isn't a corn or bean field for miles, they rely on woody browse, native vegetation and lots of acorns, plus added stress with harsh winter's, so to me their somewhat handicapped compared to other big ag areas. Congrats on another nice buck, I'm open to lessons :-)
  21. There are so many darn options and prices. I keep searching and searching and I get lost. I'm gonna write down each sites tree height and price, then ill post up the top handful of what I think are good deals. Gman I know your well versed with these trees where did you pickup your trees?
