Just started raining again in 8f. Dark too. Don’t think it’ll be a late sit with this light Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Any phone older than 18 months will start to struggle and you’ll see those quick drops. There are tricks to preserve battery, but sometimes they just shut out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Get a juice box. They’re not too expensive and are good backup for emergencies. Since we can’t keep extra batteries like the blackberry days it’s basically a battery with a usb plug and about the size of a deck of cards. I keep one charged with a cable in my pack. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have one more left. Thinking Saturday if it stops raining and dries up a little. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Back in the same stand for the afternoon. I figure statistically I have to see something now. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think some of the things you mentioned are gimmicky. But archery is treasured for its perception of tradition and origin, even if our compounds and scentlok are nothing like a spear and loin cloth. It’s still as close as we will get. To throw in these autococking, bipod, scoped modern crossbows it really infringes on that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mine is left in the truck. Doesn’t go on till in the stand because it’s a glove style. But have a routine locked in stone. When I travel to hunt it really gives me anxiety. Throws the whole thing off. All that said, I keep a spare release in the pack lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Can’t believe I’ve been voided. Damn this sport is frustrating lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Docs point is that without demand, you wouldn’t see the boom. And it doesn’t look to be slowing. So expect some ridiculous advantage distancing tech over the next 5 years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Beautiful and perfect in 8f. No work and in the deer woods. Looks like it might rain now in the afternoon, but hoping I don’t need to sit then! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

man the mass on him...

yawn. i don't need to hold my crossbow steady with my bipod. how does this keep alluding you guys? Happy Halloween!

it's been a rough season for most. Warm temps didn't help many out early on, and now that the deer are on their feet we've lost 2 or 3 prime days due to weather. I know i'm agitated lol. I bumped my vacation up and will be in the woods morning and afternoon tomorrow. Winterizing the car in between. Hoping I kill one and the car has to wait. Halloween tonight with the kids and that's more fun than hunting. really, really want to kill one before the clocks change lol.

no. i read that. and i disagree. it is not as significant, but it's still there. I have plenty of real world experiences that confirm it.

buying low mileage lease turn ins ins't bad business either. Although, I'll admit my lease doesn't get the 3 stage polish and wax every spring. But I agree with everything else you said. If you're significantly under mileage you may even get credit towards your next ride. Shop around dealers to find out. Remember all they really want to do is move inventory.

but in yesterdays sale it was 40% off everything up to $50. Like I said, I got a $180 pair of binos for $130. there are gems from time to time. normal sales aren't spectacular but their flash sales are decent. I tend to score well on their shoes and athletic gear towards the end of the season. Sure a lot of times it's only in XXXL or something, but occasionally there's a gem.

Helloooo!!! Are you ready for the answer?

Please answer my questions if you're so shocked out of your socks. Then I too will be enlightened. -
agree to disagree. there's no shock/impact with an arrow.

almost forgot. the morning after coffee gorilla that sometimes knocks at the door until you cant prevent him any longer from climbing out. that's the worst.

or when i just get out of the woods and my moms like "i don't see a deer" with a big smile on her face. She means well, but it's like... mom, i just spent 4 hours in the woods and i'm tired. it's not funny EVERY time lol.

anything in nature isn't a pet peeve, but part of the hunt. all my pet peeves are human related. tresspasers, litterbugs, unethical hunters, hunter vs hunter drama. I think one nobody has mentioned yet but really grinds my gears is the uneducated/uncooperative landowner or neighbor who is anti-hunting for all the wrong reasons. If you love animals, I'm ok with that. But when it's an insurance thing, I just don't want you back there, i'm afraid you'll arrow one of my kids nonsense. that pisses me off.

agreed. that's why i wouldn't be dancing in the endzone with this response. that was all. It's still clear as mud and she thinks it's a slam dunk. what response would allow me to dance in the endzone? Dear Mrs. Growalot and Mr. B, Thank you for your email and question. The DEC is writing in response to your question on the legality of bowhunting for whitetail deer and also possessing a crossbow for turkey hunting at the same time when both seasons are open, but the crossbow deer season is not. We at the DEC interpret this action to be perfectly legal and within regulations and will add it to our FAQ section on our website to help clarify it for other hunters. Thank you for the question and good luck! but she didn't write that or provide her title did she? lol. -
it has been dumping buckets. like record amounts. arrows cut and kill by bleeding. bullets rip and tear and cause trauma and shock. Most slug killed deer really dont bleed much until the last few steps. It's why it's far more important during bow. he was just stating his preference anyhow.

that's it right there, the officer won't give a flying crap about a yahoo email printed out, he has a quota and will probably write the ticket. the rest is up to grow to fight on her own time and money. Honestly, does that answer she posted make clear black and white sense to you though? It doesn't to me. That's why I brought up my experience on the illegality of an email from a regulatory agency. It's why OSHA posts their letters of interpretation for all to see. If this response made it to an FAQ on the DEC website that'd be another story. The fact that she threw in some opinion at the end really discredits the officialness of the note. nobody has answered my other questions about mz priv. or the 2 hunter comment. honestly grow. nobody really cares but you. we're not blowing you in, you're lugging 2 weapons into the field not me. It's not my time and effort and believe it or not, i have no desire to see you ticketed.
