    That's a lot of venison. Why shoot another one? Next year he has 40 lbs. And then 60 lbs. I don't believe in killing what I wont eat. That's why I care.

    he said it was a little dark. Which is a totally relative statement. Even if he did shoot 5 minutes after legal light, he's seen what that can do and hopefully he learns from his mistake. In no way should we condone illegal activity, but maybe just maybe we help to educate instead of chase away?

    shoot at someone because they're in your treestand. Every year during the deer season the winners come to this place.

    missing the stick of dynomite. down south they'd laugh at you guys for wanting to protect venomous snakes. Too many kids and dogs die and people end up in the ER to take that attitude.

    sounds like a real scumbag. no job and a law breaker (including hunting someone else stands). You have your hands full. I'd step up my trail cam game to focus a little more on trespassers.

    the body and rack on that mature buck are just perfect. Reminds me of an athlete in his prime.

    he IS a new hunter. he never said it was illegal hours or too dark. There are plenty of darker canopies that offer legal shots that can be made ethically but still offer a challenge versus full blown daylight. man the seasoned guys here are so quick to forget how hard this sport really is and how difficult it can be.

    my first bow kill was also guts. I was 19 I think and my knees were shaking. It was a nice 7. I was lucky to nick an artery but because i was dumb and young and my dad was at work I bumped him. Still recovered him many hours later. It was a great lesson learned.

    very light grunts every hour or so during pre-rut. A little more aggressive during the rut. I also use a can and horns. However, I never or rarely call if I have activity. Just if I'm seeing nothing. I will try to grunt a buck in though if he looks like he's heading in the wrong direction as kind of a last ditch option.

    If you have 20 lbs leftover you're not eating enough. Finish it or give it away before you take another. just poking fun. I don't really care anymore. it's all in good fun.

    i've had the same pair of muck boots for about 8 years now. they have some wear and tear but still hold in heat and keep my feet dry. They're woodymax and in the south I really need to spring for a warm weather boot because I sweat pretty good even with sock liners. I noticed they were smelling pretty ripe when i took them off. Sprayed the insides of them with scent killer gold and i can't smell anything at all now. Doesn't mean the deer can't, but at least I don't have to suffer

    to each his own, but after I saw what the rage did to my first archery deer I've used nothing else since. Currently I prefer the chisel tip.

    i've been hearing that as well. i bet it's another 2 episodes before they revisit it though. They've been going back and forth with the 2 locations.
