I agree, but if one were to keep their anchor point and add a d-loop it affects their draw length. I think that's all that was trying to be said. If one were to move their anchor because of the d-loop, then no need to change their draw length. I guess this is all a preference thing. I believe we get too rapped around "perfect form" and forget that different things work for different people. There are plenty of golfers, basketball players, pitchers who have been told their whole life that their form is not correct, however they still succeed. Whatever works for someone is what they should do. If you like your release and your anchor point and want to add a loop, then you should adjust accordingly. I changed my anchor point a few years ago to compensate for a new release that I liked. While difficult to adjust to at first, the anchor point is also more accurate and effective. some use fingers, some use loops, some use a kisser button. Whatever works. I think the only thing that matters is that your draw length is correct for your setup and preference. regardless of how you get there.

Mississippi for one. I'm sure there are others. http://www.mdwfp.com/media/7311/hunting_seasons.pdf interestingly enough there are no time limits and season bag limit is 3. It's no different than states that have ARs on inside spread or main beam. Also, MS has some areas where inside spread must be 10" and others where it's 12. They give you guidelines, but you're right. You could easily mess up.

It's no secret that populations have been down. Some states in the US have a 6" beard rule for anyone over 15. I, and many other realize the issue is habitat and predators, but would you support the "turkey version" of ARs? While not restricting youth.

The more competition the better it will be for us as consumers. I believe iirc Gander was bought a few years ago and I can't recall if they were already on the way down and the new owners were going to save the place or if the new owners created the problems. I too have waited more than I should just to check out. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

The 8 point last season was my worst. Mostly because he toyed so close to a shot for about 45 minutes and I kept thinking I wasn't going to get one. But when I finally did I had calmed. Threaded the needle and made a great shot. That 45 minutes of adrenaline is what hunting is all about for me. Only a hunter can relate and you can't explain it to a non hunter. I get excited when anything brown comes my way. Recently I've tried to be more selective so when a nice buck I'm going to shoot comes my way my knees get all wobbly. I almost prefer the buck that just appears and doesn't give me time to think. Everything changes in the field. In sports those that handle it well are called clutch. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

My thoughts are that if someone wants to test their skills why not do it at the range? I have no problem with working your skills up to the 40 yard or so mark as that's what most believe to be the limit and there's no debating that one could absolutely kill much further out, but for me it's always been about odds. When attempting to kill any animal I think you owe it to that animal to do your best damn job to not allow them to suffer. And this doesn't just apply to distance, but to wether conditions, shot window, daylight etc. Impress your buddies at the range, not the field. There's little chance they're there to watch and believe you anyhow. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

the thing the pisses me off the most about the comments are that we're teaching children to kill. How about that we're teaching children to hunt and enjoy the outdoors and be able to fend for themselves. Getting them off the internet and away from the TV.

How to shut up an idiot...
Five Seasons replied to nyantler's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
I think what bothers me and most about Piers (who is entitled to his opinion) is that he's not a US citizen. Commenting on our amendments, let alone being a citizen of the country we fought to gain them is just ludicrous. You don't have to like our amendments. You're not a citizen. Go home. Top Gear is one of my favorite shows on TV and when Clarkson punched his ass, there was nothing sweeter. -

Remington Relocating Jobs?
Five Seasons replied to Five Seasons's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
I'm not sure what you do for a living, but I don't think you have a good grasp on this kind of thing, especially when you think someone will move their whole world based on principal. The cost of living is less, but the paycut and moving expenses do not make it attractive for most. I've relo'd with and without assistance. -
Remington Relocating Jobs?
Five Seasons replied to Five Seasons's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
Relo assistance is generally only available to senior band, not the labor force. And it can cost around $25k to relo... If you don't lose money on your house. And you'd be silly if you think they're also not banking on the cheaper labor Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
