I saw this on another forum. didn't know he had a show. I don't think it was scripted, but I imagine he's been asked the question many times and has his talking points so it may come across as rehearsed. I admit, I've never had a vegan attack my views, but I have explained my stance to some who aren't exactly hunting supporters. The response is usually the same as my views have not changed.

Yeah if you look at ganders website they're offering various other sig 1911's that aren't on that flier with the free .22. The most interesting to me is tacpac and that's not on the flier Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Here's the flier https://www.sigsauer.com/upFiles/CmsContent/documents/2014%201911-PROMO-V2.pdf but if you go on ganders website they're offering many more models Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

50 round mag legal in ny
Five Seasons replied to oblivitar's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
Just show me it working. That's all I ask Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
I'm seeing new sig 1911s on the web in the 700-800 range so I'm not sure this is stellar unless I can find one for that price. Currently looking at the tacpac. 3 mags and a holster for a no frills 1911. Msrp $999 Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

But is a free 22 worth a grand for a sig? I've seen them go for cheaper Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Gander, has it's biggest gun sale of the year going on right now, and is offering a free sig 1911 .22 with the purchase of a sig .45 1911. This checks 2 boxes off my want list, although I wanted to add a pocket pistol first and haven't really been researching 1911's yet so I'm not sure who makes a good 1911 and if this is a good deal. The .22 would be great for practice for me and the wife and the 1911 in 45 I think is a great bedside gun and a gun every gun owner should want in their collection. Right now my only pistol is a glock 23. I know sig is a respected maker, but their cheapest 1911 is $1k. What features should I look for in a 1911? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Because if it was so awesome, why wouldn't they demonstrate how it works? Wonder if this legal anyhow, I'm sure there's some clause somewhere lol. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

I thought he was in fight club? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Problem I have with the browning is that they shrunk the frame. To have a 22 for practice, I'd think you'd want the feel of the full frame Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Commercial banned during the super bowl . . .
Five Seasons replied to Deerthug's topic in General Chit Chat
ok here's my .02. That commercial is 62seconds, not your typical 30. do you have any idea how much that would cost? I could see maybe Remington or the NRA affording that... Sounds maybe like this is a publicity stunt to help the company get free press. Well played if it is. If it's not... well the Superbowl has been rejecting pro-life and other controversial adds for years. This is nothing new. They have a right and I can't say I don't blame them as controversy will end up overshadowing the product. Wouldn't we be freaking if there were an anti-gun add? I say keep it to funny beer commercials. -
his answer is quoted above. The response "two separate worlds" did not answer my question. It could mean that they're separate activities and kids don't interact with his hounds. Or it could mean they're perfectly great together. I so do apologize for not understanding. I will put my dunce cap on and sit in the corner. Hounds, your last post answered my question perfectly. thank you. sorry this was made out to be more than it was... but your topic got more hits

i'm talking to a wall, so i'll let it go. Was just wondering how they "as a breed" were around kids, given that they are also trained to kill. that was all.
-
I don't think you really answered my question. I am by no means trying to start anything, just wondering how they are.
-
read this the other day. Ruger and someone else are going to cease selling there iirc. Also heard Barretta is moving from Maryland to Tennessee and was considering VA, but when the anti-gun governor was just elected they backed out. I think that sends a great message. Wish Remington would/could do it. After all Cuomo doesn't want them here.
-
that's crazy. Out of curiosity, can your dogs "turn it off and on" ok? Wondering how dogs that kill behave around kids and stuff.
